can we just take the good parts of Impact and WWE and mash them together? or put someone competent in charge of it

just something...

These pics always make me think of Castor Troy's classic line "I could eat a peach for hours"

That has to be one my favorite Nic Cage scenes. That and maybe the time he punched out a woman while wearing a bear suit.

the whole "no one is bigger than the WWE" seems to be the out front statement.....no one is irreplaceable

I am of two minds about this....I know there are a lot of fans who favor the old way...."paying your dues" in the indies and all that

but guys slip through the cracks....but....but....this is also a good way to guarantee WWE control over their talents....they want people who owe their wrestling career to the WWE

For me it's not so much about paying your dues as it is proper training and experience. I'd rather have talent from the independents and overseas because FCW freaking sucks. OVW had a better track record of producing good talent. Plus, Ross>Ace.

My favorite part of that attitude is where people like Cena and Punk can't be kept off tv for more than a week out of fear that ratings will plumet and people will stop buying their t-shirts.

I would love to see what the WWE do if John Cena got badly injured and was out for a year. They would probably push someone like Alex Riley to be their top face

I think Riley has potential, but he's gonna end up breaking someone's neck at the rate he's going.

Apparently they feel the same way about Sin Cara. Thankfully they can't pull a Fake Razor/Fake Diesel when Mysterio finally retires.

:funny: Definitely...you might want to rinse it off first since Mike Knox apparently tasted it first.

probably just push Miz back up

They can do better than that can't they? I figure Orton would get moved back to Raw if Cena gets seriously hurt.

There have been a few people that languished in FCW forever who were already talented but WWE probably just wanted to break them down psychologically by making them learn the "WWE style." Consequences Creed is already better than half the chumps WWE pushed on NXT.

How long until this one gets the old FE?

With her FE could stand for soooo many different things :awesome:

But seriously she's hot...she's blonde....she'll be around for a while just because of that. As long as she's with the Miz while he's a rising star she'll have some level of job security since both do what they're told and stay on managements good side.

The crazy part is that he is working hurt and he is already booked in the biggest match at Wrestlemania. So if he doesn't take a break then there's a big chance that he ends up injured and misses a match that people have waited a year for.

I had to cut it down quite a bit.

Thanks man!:word:

I was thinking about Gail Kim quitting, and could the WWE file a lawsuit against her for just up and quitting while under contract? I mean the WWE hasn't made a statement about her leaving and her profile is still on their website, so if she just walked out without telling them couldn't this lead to legal action?

Anyone know if the Rock is a member of the Screen Actors Guild? I'd think he'd have to be if he wants to do movies, although I don't know if being a part of SAG is a requirement to act in a movie.

I doubt it. For instance I signed a contract when I got hired on, but I could quit any time I wanted to. Only thing is I am not allowed to work for a competing company for 2 years.

Just because she worked for the WWE did not make her a slave. She could leave anytime she wanted to, she just does not get paid for leaving, and she probably can not work any place else for a set time (as was in the contract).

She's getting married to a celebrity chef and may want a child. Her biological clock is ticking as she's 34.

If Cena got hurt, WWE would simply move Orton back to Raw...and anyone else who seemed hot on Smackdown (you know, like how Chris Masters was on a hot streak so Raw stole him to take advantage of Smackdown's hard work. How'd that work out?). They would simply leave Smackdown as a midcard show with a worthless title.

Melina is ABSOLUTELY a butterface,

I would be shocked if The Rock isn't a SAG member. In fact, if he really wanted to pay the industry back, he'd lobby like hell until televised wrestlers were recognized as actors by the industry.

Yes she is! Have posters here not seen that video she made a few weeks back without any make-up on?

It was a scary scary sight

well she's ****ing fired....so let's keep it moving

so can Twitter and YouTube all she wants now....and you suckers will fall for it

She should have a bright future in TNA. Gail Kim can go back to her glory days there too.

it'd be nice....but there is a problem....a majority of SAG are opposed to the idea...there are a number of actors (who won't come out publicly...at least not yet) who support it...but the Hollywood establishment types won't have it

at least thats the rumors and stuff ive been reading

also.....if WWE wrestlers get into SAG, whats to stop TNA or every other dirt indie fed out there from getting in?

Gail Kim and Melina gone?

Wow, 2 of the best looking, and decently talented Divas gone? They might as well pack in the Division, and call it a day. Beth Phoenix can't hold that division by herself.

Don't forget that Vince McMahon would not allow it either.
