There's no way that was an 11 year old in BB.

EDIT: I haven't seen the newest episode yet though… but still the girl in BB definitely seemed 7 or 8-ish.

There's no way Jonathan Banks doesn't get the Best Supporting Actor Emmy this year.

There's. No. Way.

I just realized that this added a bit more layers to the Mike/Jesse relationship.

This episode was the best ****ing episode so far. Wow, seriously powerful episode. Mike man, hit me right in the feels.

Banks did work in that episode. I adore Mike, and this episode was astounding. I can't believe how good this show is. It really gives some depth to Mike's character. I'll end up eventually rewatching Breaking Bad and have a new view of these characters that I watched originally. It's so great. "I broke my boy" destroyed me. It's nice to see that the show will revolve around exploring other characters besides Jimmy.

Jesus Christ..... This was just breathtaking. I'm totally with Sawyer and Kane, no way he doesn't get the Emmy. He put in more work in this one episode than he ever did on Breaking Bad, and that is really saying something. I'm glad I'm not the only one that kept thinking "****ing Walt!!!!" the whole time too. I just can't get enough of this show. A week is too long a wait!

My favorite episode thus far. I really didn't expect Vince to dedicate a full episode to Mike but it worked out perfectly.

I just realized that this added a bit more layers to the Mike/Jesse relationship.

That was one of the things that stayed with me after this episode. It helped explain a lot why Mike was like that to Jesse. It also gives us an insight on why he has very little patience for Walt.

I think Mike has become my favorite character in the Breaking Bad world now after last night's episode. I wasn't expecting it to be that much about Mike, but **** did it work out beautifully. Now I hate Walt even more now for killing him! The best episode of the show thus far.

That was Jonathan Banks' audition for the guest actor category in the Emmy awards ^^

Wow. Just WOW. Jonathan Banks left me speechless last night. Finest bit of acting he's ever done, and it might have been the best bit of acting on ANY episode of Saul or Breaking Bad. That last scene was heartbreaking.

Exceptional episode. Best of the series so far. Glad this is becoming as much Mike's show as Jimmy/Saul's.

Finally saw it. Definitely the best of the season and it makes me wonder if I'd have preferred a Mike-centric prequel to a Saul-centric prequel. Because I have to be honest; Saul's supporting cast so far like Kim and his brother Chuck bore me to tears. I only really enjoy seeing Saul and Mike on screen (and I guess Nacho when he appears).

I don't know how much mileage they could've gotten out of a Mike solo series.

Loved this episode and this already feels like a better first season than BB's first season, its incredible how good this show turned out. I wouldn't say this is my favorite episode because I've loved all of them and the show has great consistency, the only one that I think wasn't on the level of the other's was last week's episode.

That's what people were saying about a Saul Goodman prequel when it was originally announced. :o

We both know I'm not people. :o

From the moment I first heard Gilligan talk about this, I could see it working. At least a lot more so than "OMG they should give Jesse his own show!!!"

Even I had my doubts that this show would even work. But man that went away after the very first episode.

A show centered around either Mike or Jesse would both be a lot more constrained in terms of what it could do as opposed to a show about Saul.

Best episode so far. And I say that as someone who's thought every episode has been of consistent high quality. This is the type of episode that really makes this prequel spin-off worth it. Mike is an even better character, not diluted by knowing more about him. I can't wait to see where the Saul and Mike relationship takes us. It could be the new Walt and Jesse relationship but stands on its own.

Breaking Bad may have more ""Oh my God that was ****ing badass!" moments in season one, but here the writing is better. It's just more subtle and intricately layered in its build up. It has its growing pains in some areas, but I think it's already coming into its own. This show just has so much damn potential that it's only gonna get better.
