Better Call Saul! - Breaking Bad Spinoff A Go At AMC

I always found Mike more interesting even on Breaking Bad. I still like Saul/Jimmy, but he's got nothing on the "no half measures" speech.

The second I saw cowboy boots in the promo, I knew [blackout]the Cousins[/blackout] were just around the corner. That reveal at the motel pool was almost out of a horror movie. They're literally the Michael Myers of the BrBa universe.

Jimmy's wearing colored suits in next week's promo! :awesome:

Great episode, Michael Slovis can do no wrong.

The coffee cup thing is a such great metaphor for so many things.

I'm glad we appear to be getting Saul next time. The Jimmy story has been treading water for a couple episodes now.

Yeah. I don't know if they need to expand Kim and Mike's stories for some reason we don't know yet or if they don't know what to do with Jimmy's storyline. It doesn't bother me though, everything is interesting to me anyway.

Still behind. Have 3 episodes left of season 1. It's a pretty good show Me likey.

That final scene with Jimmy and Kim broke my heart.

I've said it before about this show, but it's just so damn gooooood. Such a great companion to Breaking Bad.

Agreed. I told a friend who's a fan of Breaking Bad but doesn't watch Saul that this is a worthy successor to Breaking bad.

This episode was SOOO GOOD...MAN.

Why do I feel like Mike is going to [blackout]give Hector his stroke[/blackout]?

oh most definitely he will do that.

I just wonder how he keeps the keeps the cousins off his ass in that event. Unless he pulls some Heisenberg level underhandedness.

I'm glad Jimmy's out of D&M and will be taking on more colorful clients. That's where this show shines.

I can't wait to see what Mike's playing at.

All Mike has to do is make it seem like a natural medical occurrence.

I was gonna say that that seems a little more Walt than Mike, but then I remember that he gave the surviving cousin a lethal injection when he was in the hospital on Breaking Bad, so I guess it's possible.

So, think we're gonna be seeing Gus in the season finale? Bringing Tio in is certainly a step toward that. I'd imagine we're going to see how Mike came to be so trusted by Gus. God I hope Gus is coming into the picture.

I can see him showing up next season.

At this point, I can't imagine he won't be a part of the show sooner or later.
