Ubisoft Beyond Good and Evil 2: Beyond Prequels and Reboots

It is rotten to the very core. I don't know how you can fix it without burning the place down.

Yves Guillemot has to leave, at the very least. All of this **** has been happening under his leadership.

Its probably best to just cancel it. A game from a major studio shouldn't take this long.

Beyond Good And Evil 2 Studio Head No Longer At Ubisoft

The studio told staff last week that managing director Guillaume Carmona, who had previously been absent since the beginning of the year, would not be returning and had left the company. No reason was provided citing legal confidentiality. Carmona, a nearly two-decade veteran of Ubisoft who began in marketing, left its Paris office in 2019 to become head of the studio best known for creating Rayman. Carmona declined to comment when asked about why he was not longer at Ubisoft.
His departure comes after a year which saw dozens of developers at Montpellier going out on extended leave for stress or sickness, including many leads, according to three sources familiar with the studio’s operations. Some came back, while others eventually left the studio altogether, eventually sparking a visit from the French labor inspection office last December.

I mean, we're never getting 2, so may as well milk the masterpiece that is the first one.

Another game that should have been ported to ps4/xb1 a long time ago.

Assassin's Creed 1 when?

I watched the 2018 gameplay video, and it looked so ahead of its time. 6 years later, there's still no game...

I wish they would just officially announce its cancelation than just radio silence.

Will the link to Beyond Good & Evil 2 just be a title screen saying, finally, that the game isn't happening?

Didn't play the first one, but I'm aware of its cult classic status
