Big movies that were letdowns...according to MSN.

The guy who wrote that is an idiot.

Wow. Uh, E.T. and the entire Spider-Man trilogy? Yeah um, I don't think so. I gotta disagree with putting certain Emmerich and Bay films in their mentions.

LOL at the disclaimer...

"The views above are Sean Nelson's ... so don't get angry at all of us. Some of us want to beat him up, too, including his editor."

Ah, I think he was too harsh with E.T., there is no way in HELL that "Titanic" is the "worst movie ever" (that's "'Manos' The Hands of Fate'") and he sounds like he's judging all of the effects for Spider-Man from that one Green Goblin battle at the Macy Gray Parade.
Spider-Man movies have some of the best effects ever and they're definitely not the only problem with the movies.

He's right about Star Wars, The Passion, I Am Legend and others though.

WTF were they thinking on I Am Legend?
It would've been so much scarier with people playing the mutants.
They all looked like characters from "Assassin's Creed" cut scenes. :down

Every part I read was right on.
What did he say that was stupid?

The thing that confused me was I thought he was gonna be b*tching about summer blockbusters, but half his movies were winter movies. Plus there's a lot more movies he could've picked as horrible blockbusters than the ones he chose.

The thing that confused me, is, who felt "let down" by Home Alone 2 ?
lol

"OMG, that wasn't Kevin. That was KINO! :cmad:"

Exactly I Am Legend and Passion were both released in other seasons....that's just two off the top of my head.

-Also Titanic is far from the worst movie of all-time.

-I also disagree with about everything he said about I Am Legend, same with The Spiderman films.

Pretty bad list.

E.T? Really? I really can't agree.

Though, I do agree with The Da Vinci Code.

Both Home Alones were released around Thanksgiving, for the Christmas season that they're set in.

Titanic was released towards the end of the year, same as I Am Legend.

Passion was released in Spring.

Also, I never understood the hatred towards the DaVinci Code, it's basically a direct adaptation of the book.

Really the only movies on that list I agree with are the Star Wars and Titanic was really overrated.

It seemed like everyone in The Da Vinci Code was tired. Like they couldn't believe what they were saying.

Dudes, there's a big "Summer Movie Guide 2008" banner...and then under that, an article, called "Lackluster Blockbuster", about "big" films that were letdowns.
Summer has nothing to do with the article.
The intro says, "It's summer time which means big blockbuster time."
But then it says, "Here are some Blockbusters that blablabla..."

Summer calls blockbusters to mind, but is not the only time they come out.
Like, Christmas...

The guy who wrote this list is on drugs....but I'll give him one thing though...transformers was crap

Attention all future writers! If you want to get some experience writing, call MSN.com! Apparently, they'll take anybody!

Complete waste of my reading time. This dude needs to throw away his DVD player and stick to PBS.

This guy is dumb.

Wow what the ****. ET's on this, why?

How unfortunate. The prequels belong, Home Alone 3 should be there instead of Home Alone 1 and 2 (2 acknowledges how ridiculous it is that he's done it again at least) 3's just an INO movie. I'd say Titanic delivered on what it promised. Sure it hasn't aged well but at least it had boobs.

Where's Wild Wild West? That movie nearly killed Will Smith's career and he seems to have done it again with Hanpenis.

Where's Pirates of the star wars ripoffs?

Where's the Matrix Re-bloated?

Where's x-men 3?

Where's Wild Wild West?
Ha, totally. I can now get behind the idea that the guy is stupid...putting E.T. on, but not WWW.

Despite the painfully overplayed song, and all of the people singing it into my face non-stop that summer, I was pretty excited to see it, for the awesome fantasy/western stuff.

I'll never forget, I got to the mall early, bought a magazine to read while having lunch in the food court and waiting for the show.

I went into the almost empty theater, and without realizing it, during the movie, I had started reading my magazine, out of boredom, by the dim light of the Exit sign above me, because the movie was so cosmically boring and bad.

Reading, in the dark, rather than watching a "Summer Blockbuster".
Wh00.
