Bill O'reilly hates horror movies

does anyone go to see these movies? , who goes?
DR. VIRGINIA KLEIN, PSYCHOTHERAPIST: People with a great deal of need to see rage and identify with power and angry power. Because nobody is listening to feelings.

O'REILLY: All right. So people who are angry themselves? Is that what you're saying?

KLEIN: Well, people who have suppressed their anger, either through tranquilizers or getting their new toys. And nobody listens to feelings, so they get pent up inside.

O'REILLY: So they have no outlet for their anger?

KLEIN: Right. So they identify with the great power, to cruelty to other people.

I had no idea I was angry and wanted to see people get hurt. I thought I just wanted to have some fun at a movie with some friends.

They are both idiots.

The problem is that you guys have grown up in an era of Jerry Springer. There is no upper limit for you....nothing is just simply beyond the pale....no restraint is needed.

A society cannot stand for very long, with that kind of attitude.

Those are not horror movies! These are slasher/ torture movies. No plot....no purpose. Just blood and guts everywhere.

I agree with O'Reilly. Surprise. Surprise. :whatever:

So what, should we have the government ban horror movies or something? I love how conservatives preach about small government, then decide big governemnt is needed to protect "Family values". Double standard much?

Remember, you can get video of that story in the Premium section of BillOreilly.com.

The neo-cons can't get everyone to agree with their viewpoints, so they infiltrate the government and legislate their morals and build government entities around enforcing them. It's the only way their ideals can proliferate. Left to free-thinking, sane people, they're the kind of ideals that die on the vine.

And people like you get in and "legislate" your morals, as well.

But they don't claim to support small government, now do they?

Horror movies and slasher movies aren't for everyone. You don't want to see, then don't see it. Simple as counting to two or...counting money.

somewhat off topic, but check out this quote from a marine in iraq on political talkshows and their distorsion of what's going on in iraq:

Time.com said:
Biggest Outrage — Practically anything said by talking heads on TV about the war in Iraq, not that I get to watch much TV. Their thoughts are consistently both grossly simplistic and politically slanted. Biggest Offender: Bill O'Reilly.

suck on that, bill-o!

O'Reilly, shouldn't you be somewhere defending your Republican based viewers and defending Bush, Rumsfeld, and Rove?

Come see my movie. If not, 'O Reilly will execute.

He's independent in the sense that he just says he is so that he doesn't appear as much of a neo-con fascist as he usually does.

He pimped the most successful sadistic movie EVER as much as anyone.

The Passion of the Christ. He not only became part of that piece of $$$hits promotion/defense team, he became business partners with the anti-semitic outlaw himself and sold his books movie rights to Gibson.

Anybody who doesn't hate Bill O'Reilly is uninformed or simply an a$$hole.

I don't know why nobody has ever pointed out, when Billo trots out that particular piece of bull$hit, the fact that "Independant" is a party registration and not a philosophy. And he wasn't even a registered independant until someone revealed that he was a registered Republican.

Th Passion of the Christ wasn't the most sadistic movie ever made. "House of thousand corpses" is what I would call "sadistic".
