Bill O'Reilly Vs. The UFC

Let's make O'Reilly fight in the UFC. Not only would he get the crap kicked out of him, but it'd be a reason for me to watch that show.

O'Reilly knows nothing about MMA, and it showed. If he hasn't already made himself look like an ass, this interview would clinch it

I don’t want to say that O'Reilly is an idiot because he is not. He is a dishonest hype machine that can and will take any topic and turn it into an argument by playing devils advocate for the sake of his ratings. As a big fan of the UFC I am happy to see in this argument he one walked in with a single bullet (Parkinson's disease) and got gunned down (especially by Franklin) with truth and logic.

Where there is medical documentation that there “could be” a correlation between head trauma and Parkinson's disease

Bower Medical journal 2003 said:
Past episodes of head trauma are reported more frequently by sufferers than by others in the population. A methodologically strong recent study [Bower 2003] found that those who have experienced a head injury are four times more likely to develop Parkinson’s disease than those who have never suffered a head injury. The risk of developing Parkinson’s increases eightfold for patients who have had head trauma requiring hospitalization, and it increases 11-fold for patients who have experienced severe head injury.

there is no saying that it is a "direct cause" in "all people." There is heavier evidence that it is largely genetic and possibly environmental.

In summery O'Reilly is a right wing media ****e and yes... a complete tool.

I got a UFC viedo, and was utterly bored by the lack of fighting. I thought UFC was hardcore fighting, but it is hardcore...boring.

What's your definition of hardcore? There are some damn fine athletes in UFC; I think there is more focus on finesse and strategy. Pride (in Japan) is a bit more brutish; if I remember correctly, they allow knees to the head once the fighters are off their feet (kneeling/grougn'n'pound). UFC has more regulations now.

Also, it depends on the fighters/fight. Some are uninspiring. Chuck Liddell, Matt Hughes, Randy Couture or Phil Baroni are usually a good bet for a fun-to-watch fight in UFC. Wanderlei Silva, Bob Sapp and Quentin 'Rampage' Jackson are cool in Pride.

I'm glad he was shut up on that issue.

Though I'd like to see how it would turn out if he were to get in the ring with Rich Franklin.

Bill O'Reilly may not like UFC but who gives a ****, Bill O'Reilly is an old man who doesnt know his head from his ass. UFC/MMA is the evolution of fighting, even the US Military knows that, Modern Army Combatives was actually developed with the help of UFC fighters such as Royce Gracie.

Can't you guess? Franklin would beat him to pulp of course! :D

Middleweight Bout:
Kendall vs. Ed

Most of Fox News' demographic.

"Should Ultimate Fighting be banned throughout the United States?"

Um... no. I think whether or not certain regulated fighting tournaments should be banned is a decision the states should make. Unlike O'Reilly, I can have a conservative opinion that makes sense.

After reading about this story it seemed the only people to lose were the one's who watched it.
