Birds of Prey

Haha, that would actually be weird enough that I wouldn't mind. Plus, it wouldn't really have been Cassandra doing any of those things.

Yeah....except we all know thats not going to happen.

I'm sure Ra's possesed her, just not her spirit.:D:up:

Cassandra still had her vow to never kill another person in place back then. If you read the comic, it's pretty clear that she doesn't actually kill Shiva, she just breaks her neck (which you can survive, contrary to what most movies and TV shows tell you) and leaves her hanging. It was actually a gift to Shiva. Shiva had a death wish for the longest time because she was literally the best martial artist ever. No one could hope to beat her, so she became obsessed with finding someone who could kill her. In soundly defeating her, paralyzing her, and leaving her hanging, completely helpless, Cassandra demonstrated that there was someone out there who could kill her without actually having to kill her. Leaving her hanging over the Lazarus Pit to boot was basically Cassandra's way of giving Shiva a second chance at life without her death wish hanging over her all the time.

Oh, I understand all that, I was just refering to the fact that she's leading the League of Assassins, which I see is a point of up for debate around here lol.

i dropped this book and i dont even read it in shop any more, i just stoped caring

I searched and didn't see a thread for this tittle, so if there is one, sorry. Is anyone else following this book? I read a few old TPBs and decided to pick this comic up. I've really enjoyed it, I think the characters and well written and the stories are fleshed out nicely. I really haven't had much exposure to the series other then a few TPBs and a few current issues, are there any story arcs I should look into?

Also, why isn't Batgirl a part of the team?

And lastly, hooray for Prometheus.

Fin-ally you come into my neck of the woods. ;)

I adore this book and when I started getting montly's it was the first book suggested to me and the only one I've kept constantly on my pull list.

Not too fond of the art right now and I can't say I'm excited about the story arc, but I'm a die hard Dinah fan so I stick with it. :)

lol Its a big forrest out there, but it was bound to happen. :)

I've always kind of had a thing for the Huntress and I was hoping to see more Cassandra Batgirl interaction (But I guess those hopes are dashed now), so that's what pushed me into getting the book.

The art's okay, nothing that makes me go "Wow!" but it could be a lot worse. So what do you of think of what's going on with Dinah, think she'll
take over for Shiva?

I read the first trade, loved it, but I couldn't find any more (I don't think BoP is high on DC's "to collect" list) so I donated it to a library. :(
Barbara Gordon is awesome.
I almost wrote "kicks ass," but I don't think that'd be appropriate. :(

That's where I found my first BOP book, too bad I don't live in Florida, then that might've been eery/cool.

And now I feel bad for laughing. :(

Mother tells Dinah that she must take over
the role of Shiva, that's why she's been going under all her training. If she doesn't, the little girl, Sin, will have to.

She'll probally say yes, then try to take off with the kid, only to get her ass kicked by said kid.

Then it turns out the kid is Prometheus in disguise, and he's downloaded the fighting moves of the top thirty kids in the world.

Why couldn´t they just let Cassandra walk into the sunset or die a heroic death?

Because few people are ever so lucky in comics.

Because the writer for Robin, Assh*** McAssh***, felt the need to ruin her character.

This title was one of my favorites Pre-OYL, OYL, its not bad, but feels different. Which I guess was the point.

Oh, right. Take over as top assassin. I think Dinah will do it to spare the little girl, learn everything, then laugh and tell Mother to piss off when she orders her to kill her first victim.
