I went to go see it tonight but it was sold out. I want to read some real reviews by people who have actually watched it.

the trailer...there is a scene in it...I swear to god the lifted it right from Slumber Party Massacre

I hope this movie is real self aware like Scream, and purposly lame

but chances are it is not, and is just plain lame

How could they even have the balls to remake such a great horror flick? Seriously...those phone calls still give me the chills.

Now Hollywood has to up and "hip" up this new version so every shot is overblown and every scare a "pop-up." News-flash Hollywood: Pop-up scares are not scary after the first time. Actually, they are not scary at all.

lol... hey, i've made it a tradition with a friend to always go see a movie on Christmas because they always open up new movies that day... don't know why, ask Hollywood about that, but we still go... it's after we've spent all day with the family and had plenty of good food and it's a late night show...

as for spending money on black christmas? I don't know, that's a whole different story!

Out of boredom I went yesterday to try and see this. It was sold out at TWO big theaters. In my confusion and depression I went home and watched Mr. Bean.

it had some mildly entertaining moments...they had the right idea, but overall nothing that special, quite mediocre. i'd suggest waiting to rent it.

Ok I finally saw it. The movie is a joke, so if you're expecting Halloween or a serious slasher look elsewhere. Black Christmas is a cheesy dark humor/slasher flick that has a lot of wtf moments. There was however some very nice creative kills ala Final Destination. It was a fun flick to watch. I enjoyed movies like this in the eighties and the crowd was into it, laughing and getting grossed out at the over the top gore. I like Lacey and Michelle and they were the main reason I wanted to watch this flick so my rating is baised. 8/10 if you like cheesy dark humor horror flicks, if you don't stay away.
