So where is Cap in this preview? Or do I need to get new glasses? :yay:

BTW I thought it was really cool that T'Challa was able to cut right through Tony-boy's armor (with a magic sword)!

Storm was there at the funeral? Couldn't she have...I dunno...made it stop raining on the dead guy?

Oh wait I forget, she's not a registered superhuman!

Maybe it rained BECAUSE she was there.

The whole my-mood-influences-the-weather thing and all.....

I don't understand why they didnt just get Hank Pym to shrink Bill Foster down to regular size, so that the guy could at least have a decent burial. :cmad:

Go Captain America! Stick it to the MAN!

I thought the Pym particles had to be taken in to work?

He's shrunk doen inanimate objects many times in the past.

Hell, his helmet, for example. But back when he was just going as "Dr. Pym" in his WCA days, he used to shrink down all kinds of weapons and stuff.

Man, every time i see poor Bill lying in the dirt like that i want to kick Tony Stark's iron, alcoholic ass! :cmad: :down

Yes, and he plans to give them to Spider-Man as a reminder of who he once was:cwink:

Ah. Apparently you havent read ASM #536 yet!

Actually, I haven't read it but heard about it but still still couldn't resist taking a cheap shot :-)

It's probably going to be one of those corny let's fight through our disagreements then team-up. Looking at the pic i didn't even think about who actually attended goliath's funeral. Shame that only pro regs got to attend. post civil war they should do something proper so all heroes can pay their respects.

Am I the only one who feels in the main Black Panther book that Black Panther should get more power or some new power or something now that he's with a weather controlling mutant like storm.

So what's the largest thing he's shruken down, compared to the corpse of the late Bill Foster?

Like...I don't know...a magical sword that can cut through anything? :D

Himself as Goliath, i'd imagine...

But thats not a power, plus its not even his. I think he should get shadow like powers or something. More to do with vibranium. Make him faster and stronger.

I was against this marriage from the start since I think it really harms characters when they marry characters outside their own title.
However, now that the damage is done, well, I think T´Chala is man enough not to feel intimidated by the fact that his wife has god-like powers.

Have you ever read Garth?
Garth was the pinnacle of manhood, a PERFECT guy who happened to occasionally sleep with a goddess named Astra.
From the little I recall (hey, I was 11 years old!), He had all sorts of neat adventures and the fact that he was inolved with a Goddess only helped BOOST the story, not diminish it.

Do you know how many myths have mortals laying with gods and demi-gods? A lot! And we even have stories of humans being with mutants!

You talking to me or Marvelman?

Black Panther is badass enough as is. The last thing he needs is a power upgrade.

Don´t get me wrong, as I´ve often said, I think there SHOULD be more Thor-class or Wonder-Man-class superpowerful black characters.
Right now you have Storm, Photon and mayyyybe Cloak,...... but that´s it.

99% of trhe rest of the very few black characters in Marvel are streetlevelers: Cage, Falcon...

But Panther is just fine as he is.
Pinnacle of human shape both physical and intelectual and ruler of a highly advanced society centuries ahead of ours.

It's true that BP doesn't need an upgrade. Priest and Hudland, like them or not seemed to be two of the few writers that captured the badass essense that Stan Lee started for him as few other writers developed.

However, I do see Zeu's point, Luke Cage is probably the closest thing strength wise to Thor and Wonder Man but Marvel could use another black powerhouse who fits in that upper power level.

Don't worry, I'm sure DC will kill off another powerhouse and replace him with a minority version a few months later :-(
