Panther's not stupid enough to depend entirely on his own fighting skill. he knows good and well that the Captain has decades on him.

Well since Cap was frozen for decades they are probably pretty close in age.

Man guys I have to admit that the cap is pretty good just that the Black Panther would beat Captain America pretty bad. It does not matter where he is the Black Panther will always win. The Black Panther is way tougher than cap and way smarter he's a scientist for goodness sake. Also the Black Panther's father beats cap. In a Black Pather book it says T challa was better than his dad even in his younger years .Also the Black Panther has defeated the Fantastic four. I believe that the Black Panther would win.

Black Panther tricked and whipped each member of the Fantastic Four in FF#52 the first appearance of Black Panther....Black Panther is a Physicist/scholar/warrior/expert gymnist etc...He's a mastermind and in his first appearance he sent Reed Richards an airplane from Wakanda with technology that Richards had never seen..when FF arrived in Wakanda they were blown away and couldn't believe the technical marvel which was Wakanda...Black Panther using the money received from selling small amounts of vibranium around the world, succeeded in sending his scholars around the world to study at the best schools, bringing that knowledge back to make Wakanda the most advanced civilization on Earth...

As far as Captain America....T'Chaka (BP'S FATHER) beat Captain America during WW2...Black Panther descends from a line of warrior kings..He's trained all his life and is the Champion Fighter of Africa along with taking the heart shaped herb, he's a true warrior...Sorry but Black Panther would kill Captain America
