Should Captain America Get Juicued?

Stan wrote plenty of tense spiderman stuff.
He had spidey quipping in the master planner arc when may was on her death bed and spidey was as angry as he gets but he still quipped.
He was quipping a few seconds after the osborn unmasked him, very tense moment that.

Id argue comics have changed a lot since Stan was writing Spidey and so has the character but ive had this argument one too many times.

I wouldn't disagree per se.
But I would point out that certain things remain constant about characters and I would consider spidey's quipping to be one of them.

....this is the problem with Marvel right now in that they feel the best way to tell a story is by making stupid changes to the character. To me the best way to tell a Cap story is by mimicking 24. Imagine a story where the Red Skull plants a nuke in the US and he calls Cap to tell him he has a day to find it. A story like that wouldnt just showcase Cap's fighting ability but also his tactican mind( a rarely seen asset much like Batman's detective ability).
