Personally I think when they decide to bring back Blade, he deserves the big screen treatment. Black Panther has set the stage for his bigscreen return.

A TV show can work just fine. But I really do think the fans are there to make a movie worthwhile. I honestly have been a tiny bit let down by the Netflix shows and think that Daredevil, Luke Cage, and Punisher would've been better suited with feature films..

The first Blade movie was an absolute landmark for the superhero genre, and its effects are still felt today.

It's time to bring him back. So what do you think? Movie or TV show?

I'd wait to see if Iger is serious about developing R-rated Marvel movies beyond Deadpool who comes prepackaged from Fox. If they are, maybe. But if they treat Deadpool as a one-off franchise (which I suspect they might, barring perhaps X-Force), then I suspect Blade will be sent only to television, because Feige has no interest in the harder and darker Marvel characters and themes.

I love the idea of blade interacting with characters like captain America plus I still think there's life in a blade movie so I would love to see that

Either way, if Blade were to appear in the MCU, it'd have to differentiate from the Blade trilogy and TV series, even if that lasted one season.

Does blade have a big enough rogue's gallery to justify a tv series? I suppose if you're clever enough you can just keep making them like buffy did

I've said it before, I'll say it again:

Night Stalkers. Best way to do Blade, is Blade as part of a team.

Movie.

A TV show would just look cheap under Marvel Television.

Movie. I mean I'd say that for any character that I'd prefer an around 2 hr movie over a TV show.

That being said, no way in hell Marvel makes a Blade movie. Even PG13. Too dark for what they're doing.

IMHO, TV would be best format for Blade at this point.

I want to see Blade teamed up with Strange, Wanda and Ghost Rider on the big screen in a Midnight Sons flick. I'd love to see it as the Strange sequel.

I wonder if they could include Mobius as a lighter sidekick for blade. Sort of the ninja ninja to Blade's Afro Samurai. Noel fielding might make a fun Mobius.

Would love to see more of Blade's rogues though

I bet we get Blade on the new Disney streaming service

Agree with all of that.

I would like to see him in his own feature film again. I don't want to see him get the tv treatment because I will never see him with MCU characters like how we can't see Daredevil or Punisher in the MCU because of this boundary.

I'd like the idea of Blade to be a Netflix show, and to possibly filter into the Defenders. I'd want the same for Ghost Rider too, as unlikely as both of these are at the moment. I'm still struggling with the concept of actual vampires in the MCU.

I was instantly thinking Netflix all the way. Netflix has a way of making a
series look dark and macabre and bringing to a appeal that doesn't lull in
you disinterest or makes a series look to family-oriented watered down.
With the luck of all their past superhero series, i'd far trust and hope Netflix
would get the nod over a Disney, or FX, etc, etc.

Yep, that would great to add Morbius, and completely re-do the Midnight Sons. I'd wonder if Ghost Rider would be too expensive for Netflix.
at the least Rider would have to be guest appearance.

What was missing from that previous Spike TV's Blade:Chthon that seemed
like a major turnoff disappointment for most viewers and a quick cancellation pull ?

it only lasted one single season - and then it was complete history.
Was being on Spike TV cable just too little exposure ? Did that lead to poor Nielsen TV ratings and a pull the plug ?

Can I be honest? I didn't find the lead actor very charismatic
