the film wasnt bad, but it's plot went to pretty unbelievable lengths.

This was a really good movie. Cleverly conceived, and handled with a lot of intelligence throughout. There's a sudden shift in tone and I hardly realized it until it was happening. Just a really well made, well-acted film. One of the better ones I've seen this year, and one of Jude Law's better performances in recent years. Mara was quite good as well.
