I've heard a lot of people have mixed feelings about it. In my opinion I love it mainly because I knew that we weren't getting the Old-Punk Blink 182 but we definitely got a more mature version of the band. You can really tell they all have evolved as musicians by being away and doing their owns things before reuniting.

yeah the album did leak, if anyone wants it send me a pm, I already have the album pre ordered and paid for

i cant wait to see them in 2 weeks! I love the new album and I am tired of the Angels and Airwaves crap, even though they have some good songs. Its good to have them back

i'm supposed to work their gig when they come here

last time they were here with fallout boy and they gave everyone who worked free t-shirts. only band i've ever worked for that did that

So what's everyone's favorite songs on the new album?

Blink 182: Grown men complaining about problems from high school.

Yea, actually take a listen to the new album and then see if your assessment still sticks.

Favorite song: Natives, then Kaleidoscope, followed by Ghosts on the Dance Floor.

It's a lot different than what I was expecting. It certainly flounders towards the end with Love is Dangerous and Fighting the Gravity, but that hardly kills the rest of the album. It's catchy, it's dark, it's depressing at times, and I feel that's enough to differentiate it from AVA, which while I do see the comparisons, lyrically it's not as preachy.

my favorites are kaleidoscope, MH 4.18.2011, and after midnight. it's a lot darker than i was expecting, but that's not a bad thing.

I like Snake Charmer, After Midnight, Hearts All Gone.

Album's a lot better than I expected. Also, saw them a few days ago. Put on a really good show. You don't really appreciate Travis until you see the guy do his thing live. Nasty.

Mark Hoppus, bassist from the band blink-182, revealed that he has been battling cancer for the last 3 months.

Forgot this thread existed. Interesting (and cringing) to read all the previous posts and how some have aged better than others.

Anyone having thoughts or feelings one year into this newest reunion? Saw them in May and it really out into perspective how cautious and "just a toe in" they were back in 2009. Edging was a fun burst of energy to kick things off. Loving everything I'm hearing of the album so far.
