This is the Overwatch hero preview trailer I’ve been looking forward to: Winston’s. He’s a scientist and adventurer, with a fancy Tesla cannon and a nifty jump pack. Oh yeah, and he’s also a gorilla. You can watch him leap around the battlefield, electrocuting enemies, in the trailer below.

Overwatch : New Hero Announced - Soldier: 76

Blizzard is revealing the first new Overwatch hero since the originals were unveiled along with the game itself at last year's Blizzcon. Called "Soldier: 76", he is a highly trained warrior who uses a variety of weapons to make his point.

Don't worry: Overwatch no longer has a fixed FOV

Blizzard has done a quick 180 in regards to the lack of FOV slider in Overwatch. Back in March, the company line was that the multiplayer FPS would have a fixed FOV, with Blizzard preferring a low, universal FOV and an even playing field. It now looks like this plan has been scrapped.

Soldier “Check out my silly visor” 76, the most recent of Overwatch’s revealed combatants, was unveiled yesterday, but without an unedited gameplay preview. There were plenty of videos accompanying his reveal, but none contained the raw footage that shows you just what it’s like to control him in a match. That did pop up today, however, and you can watch it below.

World of Warcraft : Blizzcon Schedule Revealed - Legion Taking Center Stage

The 2015 Blizzcon schedule is now out and available to give fans a chance to set aside time to check out news and eSports coverage of their favorite Blizzard games during the two-day event to be held in Anaheim on November 6th and 7th.
World of Warcraft will grab center stage as the kick off event on Friday, November 6th with Legion's World and Content Overview taking place from 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm Pacific (3:30 pm - 5:00 pm Eastern).
Other notable panels to be held in and around all the esports action for Hearthstone, Heroes of the Storm, WoW, and Starcraft include:

Overwatch : NA & EU Beta Events to Kick Off on Tuesday, October 27th

In somewhat unexpected news, Blizzard has announced that both the North American and European Overwatch beta event will kick off on Tuesday,
October 27th. Originally, the beta start was to be NA only, but Blizzard revealed late last week that the EU version would start simultaneously.
We were able to complete setup and testing of our beta servers for Europe sooner than anticipated. As a result, we're happy to report that we will be launching the Overwatch Closed Beta in both the Americas and Europe gameplay regions on October 27.

Overwatch : North American & European Closed Beta Goes Live

Blizzard has unlocked the Overwatch servers so that specially flagged accounts can now download and install the game.
There is no NDA so players are allowed to stream and write about their experiences in Blizzard's first foray into the shooter genre.
As a reminder, our primary objective for the Closed Beta is to get focused, hands-on gameplay feedback, so the number of participants in this phase of the beta will be relatively small as a result (though we will continue to add more people throughout its duration).

From time to time, we'll also be hosting Beta Test Weekends, during which bigger groups of players will be called on to stress-test our hardware and help make sure it's ready for launch. Look for more information on these testing opportunities in the near future.

Everyone in the beta is free to discuss the game, post screenshots, share videos, and stream all they wish—just keep in mind that Overwatch is still in development, so everything you see, hear, and read reflects a work-in-progress.
