So anime fans, how is it?I'm a huge fan of Blood: The Last Vampire...and the trailers for this show based off of it deeply impressed me with it's beautiful animation.But, without spoilers, how's the story?Is it as good as it looked?

First, Blood+ isn't a direct spin off of Blood: The Last Vampire. For some reason the creator wanted to restart it with his own tale. So the movie & the series aren't related.

As for series, it's good. The story's solid. Action scenes get gory at times. The animation is nice but nothing compare to Blood the Last Vampire, IMHO. The series runs up to 51 episodes. The first 25 serves as character build up. It starts off slow but it picks up the pace around episodes 10-14. So be patient with it.

Saw Blood: The Last Vampire on Showtime once. Pretty cool.

 

[The Cajun]

I'm a huge fan of the show and if you are willing to invest the time in watching all 50 episodes it will be well worth it.

It does start a little slow but really picks up in the middle and by the end you'll be on the edge of your seat.

The ending really hints at a sequel of some sort that I'm still waiting for!
