If true, awesome! I have no doubt Rami will pull Freddie Mercury!

Got a free screening here in Chicago but unfortunately can't make it. If anyone else goes let us know.

Gutted Baron Cohen couldn't iron out his differences with Taylor & May but see how the casting goes, on the whole, the casting of the band has been very solid.

One of my favorite things when watching a biopic is looking out for other famous people that have brief moments throughout the film, has there been any word on if we will see other musicians and if they have been cast?

It's a biopic, not a musical. Why would he need to sing?

I'm indifferent on actors singing in musician biopics. Jamie Foxx in Ray did none of his own singing and it seemed distracting hearing Ray Charles's voice coming out of a different person, even though Foxx still gave an amazing performance anyway. Joaquin Phoenix in Walk the Line did all of his own singing and it seemed more natural, but on the other hand while he can sing, it didn't sound a lot like Johnny Cash to me. Again, still a great performance. I can live with either way as long as the actor gives it their all, and it looks like that's exactly what Malek is doing here.

Just use the original master tracks, it's not like anyone else is going to be anything but inferior to Freddy's vocals, no matter how good they are.

I do think he's gonna do some singing.

guess we're getting a trailer soon then

Did Rami nail it? I'm not that familiar with Mercury.
