As excited as I am for this film and that trailer was absolutely incredible, from all the pics I've seen and the trailer itself I can't help but feel like they could have used prosthetics to give Raimi that kind of big chin and jawline that Freddie had. I mean it just would have added to the visual effect of believability for me that the person I'm watching is Freddie and not someone playing him?. I know the performance is far more important but every little visual bit can really help sell it also. Just my feelings on it. Other than that, I love how Raimi is doing it so far and can't wait for the film.

See this is my point that I had made earlier. Why couldn't they have used something like that for Rami Malek?. It just adds to the visual look so much more. Freddie had a uniquely proportioned skull and jawline. This movie of Sacha's proves it works.

Disagree. I think he pulls off most of the look I just think the added help of some prosthetics will help just get an audience more invested in feeling like they're watching Mercury instead of a guy playing Mercury.

Not generally a movie I'd feel compelled to see; though that doesn't mean I wouldn't show up anyway. That being said, I loved the preview and this is a definite see for me.

My first reaction was "okay...yeah...I'm down".

Do you guys know what Malik looks like? Or Mercury for that matter? They don't look remotely alike. Not even a passing resemblance. I suppose coming his hair back and adding a mustache is enough?

Sure, Rami might look more recognizable with the long hair, but he looks pretty perfect when pulling off Mercury with short hair and the moustache.
