Definitely not going to miss out on them this time around.

For the most part I really like the Ant Lucia designs so will have to check this out.

Comic book series sounds amazing definitely checking it out.

In the Bombshells universe, [BLACKOUT]Batwoman[/BLACKOUT] saves Bruce's parents and thus there's no Batman.

Bombshells also got some love. Marguerite Bennett she’s been “sitting on this” since last September and asked for a round of applause for her restraint. Bennett is excited that we get to “explore this world through all these different genres”. Every one of the 10 page units is going to settle on a genre with an “alternate history of WWII”. It’s an “incredibly fun world”, she said, with interior art by Marguerite Sauvage. She said that to give us an idea of the tone of the book and how “lively” it is, the first page opens with a black and white film cell appearance with graininess and a film roll spinning. We see a “damaged image” of a family walking at night going to the movies. A gangster pops out “with a tommy gun” to attack them. A figure “jumps down” and it’s [BLACKOUT]Batwoman[/BLACKOUT] who saves Bruce Wayne’s parents, she said. The “whole conceit of the story is that heroines came first, that there were no women who were derivative of their male counterparts”, Bennett explained.

How the entire thing is structured — being a digital first, that means 10 pages come out a week, and they’re going to be available every Saturday, and then one Wednesday of the month there will be a collective 30-page print issue that you can pick up from your comic book store. You’ve got your choice of media. For each of those 10 pages, for our very first arc, it’s going to focus on a different heroine. So our first ten pages are Batwoman, our second focuses on Wonder Woman, our third on Supergirl, our fourth on Zatanna, and it’s going to go on from there. And each of the 10 pagers is going to be a different genre from the art and the media that existed during the war. So for Batwoman it’s this pulpy, radio adventure serial; for Wonder Woman it’s a war story; for Supergirl it’s a propaganda film; for Harley Quinn it’s Charlie Chaplin-esque farce; for Zatanna it’s a hammer film. I wanted to create something that was alive and vivid and still true to the media and the art of the era. Bombshells is an alternate history world, it’s not going to be the same thing as the way that it’s presented in the media we might have grown up with, but it was something where we wanted to capture the tone and the energy of it.
Can't wait for this.

First chapter was so good! Batwoman fans will be happy.

And that ending! :atp:

I'm really glad to hear that. :woot: When's the physical issue coming out?
