By the way, I quite liked Ghostbusters. McKinnon was fantastic.

I only smirked twice during the movie. I don't think it was horrible but I didn't think it was much of a comedy.

*shrugs* Fine. If you found something you liked about it, I won't crucify you for it. It's your opinion.

Me however, came out like this:

If that movie was that bad to you, you have been lucky to avoid truly bad flicks. :woot:

I wish i was. You're talking to the guy who's sat through crap like The Last Airbender, Bewitched, Epic Movie, Get Hard, A Good Day To Die Hard, Terminator Genysis, Xmen The Last Stand, Spider-Man 3, X-Men Origins Wolverine, Noah, Starskey and Hutch, the Twilight Saga (Not willingly i assure you), Your Highness, Batman and Robin, The Santa Clause 2 AND 3, and Assassin's Creed. ALL IN THE THEATER.:csad:

Like I said, you are lucky. That stuff isn't close to the worst films out there. Not even close.

O RLY? Not even Epic Movie? WTF could be worse than SeltzerBerg? Do elaborate.
Go to YT and find some low budget horror flicks. Or watch pretty much any Syfy produced film from the last decade. Then realize there is even worst stuff out there if you are willing to watch the low budget stuff from Asian, like a Manny Pacquaio flick.

PMS Cop, Zombie Women of Satan, The Wild World of Batwoman, Persecuted, Madea, Santa and the Ice Cream Bunny, Hillary's America, Faith of Our Fathers, I'm Not Ashamed, Old Fashioned, Saving Christmas, Dunyayi Kurtaran Adam (Turkish Star Wars), The Oogieloves, An Easter Bunny Puppy, A Talking Cat?!?!, A Halloween Puppy, A Talking Pony?!?!, Last Ounce of Courage, Asian School Girls, the list goes on.

For real? Dude, I don't even take stuff like that into account. Those are too easy for targets. Stuff like The Room and Birdemic are one thing. Manos as well. THOSE got theatrical releases! But made-for-TV movies and low budget foreign flicks/knock-offs (ex. Turkish/Russian/Asian *insert title of more famous movie here*)? Nah. Those are movies made for cheap that'd otherwise never get noticed. Stuff like Epic Movie is an insult to filmmaking, comedy (ESPECIALLY satire, which I am very critical of; there's a reason Young Frankenstein's my all-time favorite comedy for Pete's sake), and common sense.

Again, same thing. Oogieloves on the other hand, DOES qualify but I've never seen it. That DID get a theatrical release (For what reason, I dunno). I first heard of it when the theater I was seeing The Avengers at the time had a poster displayed for it (Because reasons). It was so hideous that I felt like I had half a mind to burn that thing (of course i didn't but still).

These are all movies, all films. Epic Movie is horrible, and probably qualifies. The rest, nah.

You must have nards of steel, man.
No. I do enjoy watching bad flicks at times though. I just did an Underworld marathon after all. :hehe:

Also a lot of those films on Snow's list were release theatrically, so they do count by your standards.

Hey MOVIELORD, if you haven't watched the Red Letter Media video 'Scientist Man Analyzes Ghostbusters (2016)' I'd highly recommend it.

I can't link to it due to the swearing, but if you search for that exact title on YouTube it'll pop up. The video's a little over ten minutes and the RLM guys use facts and stats (through their usual nonsense and absurdity) to explore the culture and controversy surrounding the film. It's pretty eye-opening stuff, and hilarious to boot.

I don't see the point of excluding movies based on form of release or region, they are still movies, however, Madea, Persecuted, Hillary's America, Faith of Our Fathers, I'm Not Ashamed, Old Fashioned, Saving Christmas, were all also theatrical releases. A few of the other older ones might be but I don't have that information, those ones were though.

I'm no fan of BvS, but I didn't think it would qualify as a sequel, more it's own film.

I'm not sure how you would classify it in the context of a shared universe, but it does directly continue the story of Man of Steel.

Between Eisenberg's awful Luthor and Leto's even more abysmal Joker it is hard to say who I want to "win" more. Snyder should get the director win though. Turning Batman and Superman into what he did, he deserves punishment.

Eh, I'm glad Affleck got a nom. I thought he was bland in BvS.
