i know i saw them in school when the first prequel came out back in 99. they where dressed up in school the day the movie came out.

the only thing i heard about FF was that it sold 2.4 million in it's first day of release on dvd.

sure, he did create a great universe ... but he also managed to ruine it with crappy dialogue, directing and editing.

i dont agree, his direction is actually very bad, the guy couldnt use any of his actors in the prequels well.

the thing about light sabers i never got was why where thereno blood when you got hit by one. ws its so hot it closed the woud right away

yeah, but just action doesnt make a good movie. thats all he does, puts in some crappy lines and fills the rest with action, even that isnt great some times

Among PG-13 movies (animation and PG movies dominate the DVD market), including the older releases, it lost only to SW. It outsold movies that beat it theatrically, including WOTW, CATCF (a family PG-rated movie, no less) and Mr and Mrs Smith (beat it worldwide on the BO). FF sold 2,4 m in the first day, but probably dropped high after that, in three weeks it wasn´t even in the top eight selling DVDs anymore and it didn´t make it to the top ten. it´s not uncommon, some DVDs make 70% or more of its sales in the first day.

.. i was waiting for you to come and post something like that, is it me or are dvds sales going down?... i've noticed since Hulk came out, they havent been selling well

actually dvd sales went up this year,more people are buying/renting the dvds then seeing the movies in the theater.
