This is one of the show's I grew up watching and definitely one of my favorites as a kid. I've been feeling pretty nostalgic the past week so I decided to look it up (for quite some time they never put the later seasons out on DVD) and saw they have all the seasons on DVD. Picked up S4 and still love it as much as I did when I was a kid. The whole chemistry with the actors is pretty great. The show definitely has a lot of morality/life lessons to it too, which I haven't seen in many shows anymore. Is there anyone else around here who still enjoys this show? I don't think any channels air it anymore, which is a shame.

Oh, and how can you not like Eric's "Feeny Call"? :awesome:

I still want to know what happened to the sister, I remember she went upstairs to her room the thats it.

She never came back down! :ninja: :wow::wow:

But this is what I found on Wiki:

(Lily Nicksay, seasons 1-2; Lindsay Ridgeway, guest star, season 3; regular, seasons 4-7) is the daughter of Alan and Amy Matthews, younger sister of Eric and Cory and the older sister of Joshua. She is originally a cute, little sister whom Eric shared a humorous relationship with as he used her to win the hearts of girls he’d hope to date. She disappears without mention in the middle of the 3rd season. When she returns, Cory responds "Long time no see!" to which she answers "that was the longest time out I've ever had!" With the introduction of a new actress in the role came a shift in personality as Morgan became a more sarcastic character who delights in making fun of her brothers.

You must be thinking about Judy Winslow played by Jaimee Foxworth on Family Matters. They just up & wrote her out of the show for whatever reason & when she grew up became she became a porn star.

Now the sister from Boy Meets World was played by 2 different actresses but was never written off the show.

I still think the show was better before it turned into a constant drama and they turned Eric into a ******. Also I didn't like how they got rid of Mr. Turner.

i loved how they addressed the disappearance of Minkus. they see him graduation day. Hey minkus, where have you been.
"Over there" :: points off camera::
"Oh, well we don't go over there, o hey mr. turner." lmao.

And the guy who played Minkus went on to play Mouth on One Tree Hill.

I love Boy Meets World! Such a good show! :D

I thought it was kind of funny how Eric's character shifted over the series, but that's just plain a side affect of shows running for a long time. He was originally a fairly balanced character, but as Corey grew up they kind of flanderized Eric into a lovable dumbass, probably because they were worried that the two brothers would end up being too similar. It worked out though, because Eric ended up being my favorite character.

I loved Boy Meets World but stopped watching when it got to the later seasons . I think they even went to college or maybe that was just Eric.

no, they all went to college... even, mr Feeny

I wasn't a big fan of the college years , but I watched the series finale.

Anyone think Mr Feeny had a dark side ? Always hanging out with those kids.

Oh thank you for speaking the truth.

The change in Eric's behaviour was inexplicable. Shawn Hunter should have been the ****** but instead he morphs into the brooding, energy sucking character that he became.

Basically, the show got away from its premise. It was a humorous and often clever look at a kid growing up. Then it just got weird at some point.

How did Mr. Turner leave the show? I don't remember. I do remember his first episode.

Harley Kiner: "What do you teach?"
Mr. Turner: "Well, you know, English Lit, kickboxing..."

It was also a bad idea for Shawn to be adopted by him. That said, focusing so much on Shawn was probably a bad idea to begin with.

Love Boy Meets World. Classic tv. Show was funny, and could make you cry. Whats not to love.

I think it was kind of improbable that he was a sixth grade teacher then becomes principal of the junior high and high school, and then became a professor at Cory's university.

Maybe it was dark magic.

Funny how he always followed those 3 no matter where they went. Maybe Mr Feeny died sometime during Season 1 and we were just seeing his ghost ?

He followed those kids where ever they went dude. I'm sure he was trying to smoosh Corey.

What if one of the writers was molested and it subconsciously worked it's way onto the show :wow:

I kind of hated Wil Friedle because he dumped Jennifer Love Hewitt. Who does that ?.... Apparently everyone these days.

This gets me to thinking about Carson Daly and how he is a tv personality with no personality. How does he do it? He hosted TRL, okay, he was so bland, one of the worst VJs in MTV's history, and later on gets a late night show despite going ten years on tv without saying anything funny.

How does he do it? Did he sell his soul to Satan?

The way I remember it, around the beginning of the fourth season, they barely showed him at all.

Then in the episode before the season finale, he shows up; Shawn ends up joining a cult and Turner tries to convince him not to with no luck. Turner ends up getting into a motorcycle accident and is in the hospital, Shawn shows up and decides to leave the cult; after that Turner is never seen again.

Are the Box Sets the same size ? Or different ? & Mr. Turner was mentioned in the High School Graduation episode by Minkus but not seen

I liked the episode where Fred Savage tried to rape Topanga

I've been meaning to start buying the DVDs for this show.
