Boy Meets World

They could've at least made out and or flashed the boys for compensation...

Just sayin'.

That would have been the polite thing to do!

I still think the show was better before it turned into a constant drama and they turned Eric into a ******. Also I didn't like how they got rid of Mr. Turner.
I was thinking the same thing, the first year had the kids in 6th grade and then the next season they were in high school or something which was cool since you had Mr. Turner as the cool teacher and I think Ethan Souplee was the bully, it's been a long time since I've seen it.

But then as they went off to college and starting turning all sappy lovey dovey with the teen angst that it felt like an afterschool special that's where I pretty much stopped watching.

And why was it the Mr. Feeny went from Cory's grade school teacher up to his college years? I guess the laws apply different on TV.

Well Mr. Feeny was also his next door neighbor, the prinicple, and taught 3/4s of his classes. TV laws are interesting. Then there was that room that would be whatever they needed for that episode.

Shawn and Cory regarding Feeny in the series finale:

"Oh you know were your favorites."

"I mean c'mon, you haven't even talked to another student in like 7 years."

...I always lol at that.

Haha, I loved those lines.

I just got S3 and S6 today. Been watching this show quite a bit.

"DUCKIES RULE!" :awesome:

Like Monica and Rachel did when they stole their apartment back on Friends. But it probably would have been offscreen like Friends.

Feeny walks into an empty classroom at the elementary school and sits down at the front desk. the Gang enters one by one and sits down at the desks they sat in during elementary school.

FEENY: What are you all doing here?
ERIC: Teach us.
TOPANGA: There's still alot to learn
FEENY: No, there's nothing more I can teach you.
ERIC: Then tell us that you love us.
FEENY: A student-teacher relationship has to be purely platonic
ERIC: Tell us that you LOVE us
FEENY: I will do nothing of the sort
ERIC: Fine, we will

All four go up single file to Feeny

SHAWN: While everyone gave up on me, you never did... thank you.
FEENY: It was my pleasure, Mr. Hunter.
ERIC: (says nothing but hugs him)
TOPANGA: I'll miss you when we move
FEENY: As will I, Mrs. Matthews
CORY: So will you show up in Central Park and surprise us, Mr. Feeny?
FEENY: No, I'm gonna stay right here, Mr. Matthews.
CORY: Mr. Feeny, I think I'm old enough now you can call me Cory.
FEENY: You're old enough now I can call you Cornelius.
CORY: Feeny, ssh, even Topanga doesn't know about that!

After all the gang leaves, Feeny stares at the empty seats.

FEENY: I love you all

that scene still gets to me to this day. very emotional.

It is quite an emotional scene. But it was definitely a great way to end the show, IMO.

Been watching Season 6, definitely feels a bit weaker than Season 4-5. I'm only about 6 eps into it, though.

I think my favorite episode I've watched so far is when they're trapped in the school and they're trying to figure out who the killer is.

I loved that one. Didn't it turn out to be Shawn under the mask? lol

"Oh my gosh. They killed Kenny"

"Oh my gosh. They killed Feeny" YEAH"

Wasn't Angela the black girl?

And did they ever explain how Cory went from being repulsed by Topanga in grade school to falling in love with her and then marrying her? If they did I don't remember that.

Whenever I see the character of Mouth on One Tree Hill I think "Minkus grew up well."

I remember that Blake Clark played Shawn's father and former Pro Wrestler Vader appeared in an episode once.

Somewhere around season 2 she went from weird wallflower to fairly normal girl but they also did bond a bit before that (like the time he screwed his hair up and she was the only one that didn't laugh)

Blake Clarke is funny, Harry on 'Home Improvement' (he could do both shows cause the two were on ABC), '50 First Dates', and 'Joe Dirt'.

Vader was Frankie's dad. Frankie was played by Ethan Suplee who was in 'My Name is Earl', and 'Without a Paddle'

Vader was in a few episodes. I can think of 2 maybe 3

The last season came out a few days ago, I haven't been able to afford it. I'm hoping I can get it in a few weeks.

I wish the sets came with commentary or some bonus features. But at least they're finally on DVD.

Planning to pick it up soon as I get the chance...and the saga will be complete!!

Last night I saw the episode were they went up to the mountains to ski, Cory got to know Lauren, and she kissed him. The next one was where Lauren went to Philly to talk to Cory, Topanga tested him when she told Cory that he could go out with Lauren.

TOPANGA: I can't see you anymore Cory
CORY: What are you talking about?
TOPANGA: I forgive you for talking to Lauren, I even forgive you for kissing
her, but I can't forgive you for going out with her just to test
your feelings for me.
CORY: But you told me I could go out with her!
TOPANGA: Yes... and you listened!

I don't know why, but that got me teary-eyed

I was pissed at Topanga for playing mind games with Cory. That's some sneaky **** right there. :cmad:

About two days ago I saw MTV was playing Boy Meets World. I wonder if they'll continue to air it or not. It looked like it was season 1.

I've been watching the final season of it. I just finished the episode where they prank each other until they end up hurting Rachel. Then she feels like she doesn't fit in the group. It was a pretty great episode all around. I'm gonna be :( when I watch the finale.
