Ah okay, gotcha. Loved Boyd in The Sandman, Narcos and other things not Indiana Jones-related haha. He could make a good Batman. He was also one of my earlier favorites for Hal Jordan.

I'd really give Sam Claflin a chance... although I don't know if he would have the gravitas necessary for Batman. For the Bruce Wayne persona though, he'd nail it.

I'm back and forth on who I want.
I do know this, he needs to be at least 6' to 6'2,
built, but not too built. We dont need him looking like fatman in the suit.

Good looking but not supermodel good-looking, more like a rugged good look.

And above all else, can pull off being two different characters, so we need a really good actor.

I think most importantly, this Bruce needs to be able to play into the absurdity of having a ten year old ninja son.

I can picture a Josh Hartnett or Alan Ritchson, because they have a somewhat comical or arch quality to them even when they're playing serious.

I lean towards Ritchson because his ridiculous size and action figure face is just kind of funnier to me. He's physically perfect and can usually just beat his way through any problem, but not Damian. IMO the best Damian/Bruce dynamic is in Tomasi/Gleason's run where Bruce is drawn really big and burly to really contrast with the 4 ft menace he can't control.

I actually wouldn't mind that .

He was considered for Batman and Superman waaay back in the day, and though he's been rumored for Two Face, I think he could make an Authoritative, yet , more light hearted DC Batman.

He was great in Penny Dreadful , and In Trap, he played the whole Dad of a teenager role well .

He's certainly got the physically Imposing part down, and I could buy him as a seasoned Batman operating for at least 15 years.

Just curious as someone who has never watched a single second of the Yellowstone Expanded Cinematic Universe… why does that Sklenar dude have such fanatical support for the Batman role? I have nothing against the guy but I’m just curious why he keeps getting propped up by the internets.

I think I was the first person around here to gently suggest him for the part, although our recently departed Invader co-opted the idea and was definitely more ahem, gung ho about it (I've since soured on the prospect a little, btw). lol. But to answer your question, Sklenar's character—a big game hunter—in the Yellowstone prequel exhibits a number of traits that are typically associated with Byronic heroes like Batman, and the show itself has been growing in viewership of late. That's probably all there is to it.

I think since most likely we will see lighter colors in the outfits and the entire bat family helping out etc, I say they go with the guy from REACHER. The physique, sincerity and chops alone could pull it off. As far as the rest of the cast, I am assuming they will be much younger.

physically imposing how? He looks in TRAP at least as a normal looking sized man. Which is good. Physically imposing to me is the guy from REACHER, or Bautista before he pulled the plug on his steroids
