Mike took the safety off and said unfortunately nothing could be done to stop it. Gus was going for a Full Measure. They might've hoped that Walt would tell where Jesse was and they would just kill him after. Walt can't trust them and Gus couldn't trust Walt from going to the DEA or fleeing or causing more problems.

How badass was Mike when he took on some of the cartel? I loved it!

Its too bad man, i feel like Walt and Gus' relationship was just starting to blossom, i was looking forward to seeing where it would go. I really liked Gus as a character, he was ruthless but it seemed like he had a compassionate side too and it seemed like he was really coming to respect Walt. Oh well, i noticed on this show that whenever things are just beginning to go right for Walt or Jesse, it never lasts for more than an episode and things quickly fall apart. You keep waiting for Walt's drug career to take off and then something goes horribly wrong and he has to start over.

They pulled their guns out on Walt...I think it's safe to say they were going to kill him.

They pulled their guns out on him after he started begging for his life, and started reaching in his pocket....which was for the phone. Like i said, i think this is all not what it seems...with this show, it never is.....

When Walt was pleading for his life, Mike pretty much confirmed that they were going to kill him. He was all like "I'm sorry Walt but i have to do this".

Just WOW. I mean what else is there to say. I loved when Walt recited the address to Mike and they start ****ting they pants! Ha! And that look he gave them when talking to Jesse on the phone was chilling. I'm sorry but if I was in these guys positions I wouldn't have hesitated at all, Gale was flat out scheming against his "mentor" (loosely so) with Gus! Would not have hesitated at all. Would've felt bad but them or me I pick me every time. Now if it's like some have suggested and things aren't what they seem then that will be a hell of an absurd twist given how obvious and blatantly they were not only going to kill Walt but also STILL HIS RECIPE! You cant take the Heisenberg legacy like that! Hahaha For real though this show is just absolutely amazing. After watching the last 3 season of this and seeing the quality of it almost makes me wanna go check out Mad Men just because its on AMC as well lol

LOL but that would be so lame.

"Ummm Walt, there really was a gas leak. But while we're here we may as well kill you now".

Nope, he called their bluff and as soon as he mentioned he knew where Gale lived, THEY knew he couldn't be killed straight away. This is the game changer that leads us into season 4.

It showed the intelligence of Walt, knowing what was happening between Gus and Gale the whole time...and the "twist" if you want to call it that, was that we were made to believe he was going to give up Jesse just like that after all that they'd been through.

Heh I didn't believe that for a second. He got into this mess because of whatever need he feels to protect Jesse. I was thinking, "okay, he's going into a series of rapid recalculations now."

Hey, I threw together a soundtrack for Season 3. Obviously, I couldn't find ALL the songs, but I think I got the most sought after ones. Enjoy...

'Breaking Bad' Won't Return Until July 2011
POSTED BY Col. Hans Longshanks | FRIDAY JUNE 25 AT 8:57 PDT
TV Show Title: Breaking Bad

"Breaking Bad" recently finished up a creatively astounding third season on AMC, and left me wanting so badly I wouldn't be above breaking stuff to get a resolution to the nail-biting cliffhanger. Looks like I shouldn't be expecting answers anytime soon though. Screen Junkies caught up with series creator/exec-producer/creative genius Vince Gilligan on the red carpet at the Saturn Awards last night, and he shared with us some of his plans for Season Four of "Breaking Bad," including its tentative return date.

The new schedule for next season:
“We are going to get back in the room in early July and we’re looking forward to doing that. We’re going to go back on the air in I think July of 2011 so it’s a little ways off but we’ve got a lot of lead time to hopefully make the best show we can make.”

That means extra time writing in preproduction:
“It’s going to be a lot more pre/writing time which is very good for us."

And the plot's not set yet:
"I could be coy and say I can’t say that because it’s top secret, but the truth is I don’t really know yet. We’re going to kind of make it up as we go along. I’ve got a few ideas swirling around in there but we do try to do our show sort of like, I like to think of it, and I’m not musician, but I like to think of it as freeform jazz. We sort of like to improvise sort of like jazz musicians do."

And don't worry about the themes:
“I try not to think in terms of broad themes too much because it has a tendency to get in the way of good fun storytelling. So we don’t think in terms of themes. We let the audience tell us what we’re writing about thematically.”

Breaking Bad is the big winner in the 19th Golden Europe Awards!

The show won the Best Drama Series award for second year on a row, beating the likes of Lost, Dexter, True Blood, and House.

The show won aggregate of 4 awards, in the same categories, that win last year. Best Drama, Actor, Driecting, and Writing. It won the same awards last year + Supporting actor Aaron Paul, but he lost this year to Lithgow.

Bryan Crainston beat: Michael C. Hall from Dexter, Hugh Laurie from House, Mathew Fox from Lost, and Joseph Mazello from The Pacific.

Jast as i said in the Dexter thread, next are the Emmy's. Possible three way match between: BB - Dexter - Lost

Just power-watched the whole series lol.....DAMN

Although this season finale wasnt as good as 2's

Loved Walt taking out the two thugs with his car

Also, I know it's kinda unspoken between them but I wish Walt would judt tell Jesse how much he cares for him, almost like a son. Maybe then there wouldnt be all these misunderstandings and feelings of betrayal.

One thing I dont like is how small that damn state is, Walt just HAPPENED to sit next to that girls dad at the bar and now Jesse just HAPPENS to sleep with the girl whos brother killed Combo lol

Plans For Mini-Episodes on AMC Website
Emmy-nominated AMC/Sony TV drama Breaking Bad won’t premiere fresh episodes for its fourth season until July 2011. That's more than a full year after the conclusion of Season Three last June. As a result, the show won't be eligible for a third Emmy nomination next year. That also affects lead actor Bryan Cranston, who was nominated for an Emmy three years running and might have four-peated.( He also won 2 years running, and might have three-peated.) To bridge the 13-month gap between seasons, the plan is to produce short interstitial mini-episodes of 3-to-4 minutes apiece early next year after the show goes back in production in January. They'll be posted on AMC’s website. “The idea is to keep people aware and interested in the show during the long time away,” Cranston is telling interviewers. “But I for one am eager to make these little interstitials important. I don’t want them to be simply filler or recap, but something that actually moves the storyline forward. If we’re going to do it, it ought to be a real part of the larger show.”

I think every show should do mini episodes between seasons.

i actually had already bought a tee very similar, but i think slightly more show accurate from zazzle.

unfortunately, i can't find the shirt to link anymore, as it now seems unavailable. good thing i got it a while ago.

I seriously did a standing ovation to the shoot out between Hank and the two brothers. Some of the best action I've EVER seen!!!

geezus a year...

what are they planning?

It seems like it's always such a long time in between seasons, which I guess gives them time to make the best show possible, but that policy is definitely going to lose them some fans over time.

Another rationale is that the summer is less competitive than the spring so the ratings could be stronger. If the show loses viewers it's the viewer's loss. Breaks didn't hurt The Sopranos or Curb Your Enthusiasm, the quality was there.

Breaks hurt 24 and Rescue Me because they had their worst season before the long break, Breaking Bad just had their best season. Viewership will grow and it will be paired with Mad Men. I can't even imagine how amazing that will be to have the two best dramas on the same night back to back.

Or Mad Men is being bumped back and they need to fill the summer, no news on that yet.

I want Mad Men to be a summer show, The Walking Dead to be a fall show and Breaking Bad to be a spring show.

I'm with you on that but if it can't air in the spring, the BB/MM combo is arguably the best combo in TV history.

I'm hoping the ratings for TWD are so good that AMC fast tracks the second season for March 2011. The template is there, start filming in January, have a two month lead. Could be tight. Even do seven episodes in the spring and then do six in October after MM. The spring will likely have The Killing which is like Damages West.
