I'm sure Season 5 will be Walt vs. Hank, so he should be back in full force for that. As it stands I still love Hank.

Yeah, I have little affection for those afflicted with the 24/7 pity party. He could leave the show and I really wouldn't care.

But he's just depressed that he's in a wheel chair, and unable to do the job he loves.

I guess you guys haven't been severally depressed before?

Exactly, he's an a-hole right now, but that only makes me want to see him redeem himself. Even if it just means Walt'll have to kill him or something down the road.

Great episode and that diner table scene speaks for itself. I'm glad we got three extra episodes for the final season.

The reason I got into this series was because I kept reading so many comments on the internet about how good of a show it was (isn't that always how it works? ). And, seeing as how I don't really watch too much TV nowadays, considering that the majority of it is crap, I decided to buy season's 1-3 on DVD and give it a shot.

Upon watching the first few episodes of this show, I had to ask myself: how the hell did I not hear about this show until now?!?

Seriously, this is some of the best d@mn television I have seen for quite some time. It's such a refreshing piece of entertainment. No fancy special effects, action scenes or stuff like that. Just great writing, great pacing and suspense, and excellent acting, especially on the part of Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul, whose Emmys last year were well earned. And the cinematography on this show is wonderful. So many carefully and beautifully crafted shots. The cinematographer deserves an Emmy or something!

Now that I'm all caught up, I'm grateful to have found out about this show while it was still airing. Consider me an official fan! t:

I'm almost to the point where I want to start a Jesse Pinkman religion. As if you couldn't love this character enough, there were two moments in this episode that made me

1) Jesse swinging the stick during the time-lapse montage with Mike.
2) FALLACIES, FALLACIES!

See I dunno, I feel the opposite. I can't bring myself to like Jesse at all. To me, Jesse is that character that is constantly ruining everything and getting in Walt's way. If it wasn't for him, Walt wouldn't be in this predicament with Gus. I don't see why Walt is so protective of him, the two have barely ever gotten along, in fact they're always at each other's throats. It seems like Walt would be much better off without him.

I have a feeling they're going to piss more people off with 8 episodes in 2012, 8 episodes in 2013. Stretches the show out more so AMC has time to develop replacement shows with Mad Men likely out in 2013/2014 as well.

Plus Sony TV doesn't have to give the cast/crew their annual raise because they're filming it all together. Hate to see the show end but that means its going out on top. Very seldom do you don't want a show to end, most of the time the show sputters out and went an extra 1-3 seasons too long.

If AMC airs the final 16 episodes in two 8-episode mini-seasons, they also double their awards/Emmy recognition as well. Not to mention doubling DVD profits by splitting the season into two separate releases. And keeping one of their greatest shows on the air for yet another year. So there are a lot of reasons from AMC's perspective to air them separately.

Heh, Walt and his pride. What an idiot. Hank was off of the case already and now with his reveal, hes back on AND hes got his eye on Los Pollos Hermanos.

I wonder what Gus' end game is with Jesse. Is he throwing him a bone to get him to shape up? Become Mike's new number 2, or to somehow drive him and Walt apart?

I like the idea of him becoming a kinda sidekick to Mike. At least for a bit, Jesse has become pretty cold and I like the idea that he's on the road to one day become a man very similar to Mike.

So it's pretty obvious that a major character is going to die by the end of the series and I think it'll either be Gus or Walter. Everyone else is safe and I get the feeling Jesse is a red herring.

i think Gus is building trust between Mike and Jesse. I bet the guy with the shotgun was there to kill Jesse, hired by Gus, all an elaborate plan, but it backfired when Jesse drove off.

Or it was a test to see if Jesse was loyal, since Mike left the keys in the car to test Jesse out to see if he bolts, of comes back for Mike

Didn't you hear the conversation in the car? Mike told Gus that the only injuries was a sprained ankle(the guy with the gun, I assume), and Gus said he would take care of any damages to the cars. It was all set up.
