China has built their economy on the back of slave labor in their own country and trading with the likes of Iran. China might be an economic superpower, but they are morally bankrupt and they will never stand up and say "enough is enough" against evil regimes.

china is the worlds powerful nation at the moment and they dont care about the security issue of other nations. they laughed about the united states and their involvment in other nations security and other stuffs. that's exactly what has driven us in this mess. we always "want" the best for the world...that's our policy. we have to "show" other nation what "democracy" is...well that's what they sell us but it's a dirty sell...and china does the opposite...they stand in the back let united states and some europe nations do the work and then go buying...the best thing for china were the two wars on terror..

They should just release the pictures. The American people want to see. Its a matter of closure, really. I'm guessing that this falls under national security documents so a FOIA challenge won't do any good. They're bound to get leaked eventually, Obama should just do it himself rather than give his opponents ammunition.

This That's actually why I wanted to see them not because of 'curiosity' and 'not caring' about peoples security as someone suggested.

I agree. I don't particularly want to see them, but if they're gonna get released, let them be leaked and not through Obama's official say-so.

Yeah, I remember hearing some former SEAL give an interview on CNN where he said that the hardest part was trying to have a family since you can literally be called for duty at any time of the day, and you would have to leave your family for long months with no contact and stuff.

That's why I have nothing but respect for anyone in the armed forces, because its really a tough job on all levels (physically, emotionally, and psychological), not to mention you're always putting your life on the line. I know I'm not strong enough to do that, but I commend those who are.

Just look like they are sleeping on a pool of strawberry jam. Probably the same with Bin Ladin I would think. Wise not to bother as a number of yanks probably would run around with the image boasting. On the other side, Terrorists would also use the images. Bugger the conspiracy people.

Personally I think he made the right choice because this would basically be another kowtow to his detractors like the birther thing. No need to cave in.

My sister was a Marine and she ended up marrying a guy who was also a Marine and they moved to California together. He was still serving and even went to Iraq for a while even though she had finished her service. It didn't really too long after that and got divorced within a year or two.

I have heard of some people that get married just to get a larger stipend.

its something that people in the military are trying to change....military members get paid BAH or Basic Allowance for Housing...this is based on the cost of living for the area the member is trying to live in. As of right now Married BAH is about $500-$1000 more than Single BAH. I do know of people who have gotten married for the more money and there are women around military bases who'll do it for the extra cash

1. 1 of the 5 in the compound did fire at the Seals...
2. There were two guns at the front of the room where Osama was, an AK-47 and a hand gun, Osama was at the front of the room as well when the Seals entered...he did not have either gun in hand...
3. Bin Laden's son that was killed was not the son they thought at first, it was Hakeem, I'm sure I misspelled that...

More info will be coming out throughout the day as the briefings continue.

They described Bin Laden as very confused, and after throwing his wife at the men, his actions were very cowardly...

Personally, no matter how bad the pictures are of Bin Laden i think we deserve to see them.

That said i read that if they were released that would start off a massive attack.

that is their reasoning, but we really don't know that.....but I guess it is a chance they aren't willing to take.


I think both sides of this issue have good arguments...its a tough call.
