I think the Republicans had a hand in this, and if they did not. They will cease this chance to take back power, but i think the Democrats will preveil.

Addendum said:The word "utopia" is a greek word. I gave you the meaning of the word, based on it's origins, not how others define it.
So tell me what is wrong with being selfish?
Kritish said:You still should know what Utopia means.
http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/utopia1.an imaginary island described in Sir Thomas More's Utopia (1516) as enjoying perfection in law, politics, etc. 2.(usually lowercase) an ideal place or state. 3.(usually lowercase
) any visionary system of political or social perfection.![]()
The ancient greeks would call you a barbarian, either thought they called everyone that wasen't greek that. Barbarian means "not greek" in greek.

Dude, you don't know what the word means. It comes from "democracy" which means in greek "rule by the people"- "demos" meaning "people" and "kratos" meaning "rule". But that's beside the point. You keep wanting utopia to happen, but you fail to realize that it will never happen since it's a place that doesn't exist, which is the meaning of the word in greek.Spider-Bite said:So the word democrat comes from demon and crat meaning a piece of gum stuck on the bottom of your shoe. Does that mean Bill Clinton came from the underworld or the bottom of a person's shoe? Why would the Greek definition of the word have any bearing on any of political positions?

Since I have never made others suffer, nor cause any problems in the world, I don't see how my being selfish is wrong.[/quote]It causes suffering and many problems in the world.
So the Republicans gave this guy a brain disease when he was a baby?Jourmugand said:I think the Republicans had a hand in this, and if they did not. They will cease this chance to take back power, but i think the Democrats will preveil.
I didn't vote in the 2000 election since I was in college and felt that was more important than voting.Spider-Bite said:Political support for agendas drive democracy. Opposing anything that doesn't help you personally does cause others to suffer.
Every person that voted for Bush helped cause millions of Americans to live in poverty. They helped him veto the embryonic stem cell research bill. My 7 year old sister has diabetes. She takes shots every day. They are painful. by the time she is my age she could have died already from a sugar crash. She could be missing an arm or a leg.
Every person that voted for Bush contributed to the death of countless people in Iraq.
They helped cause damage to the environment which in the long run could have catastrophic damage.
They contributed to our huge deficit which millions of americans will have to pay back.
Untill 4 years ago texas actually locked gays in prison for having gay sex. Thank Bush, and other republicans for that suffering inflicted upon gays.
Your telling me that being selfish doesn't cause others to suffer?

I didn't vote for Bush in 2004.
So no. My being selfish has not caused others to suffer![]()

I didn't feel like travelling 400 miles across Tennessee to vote in a damned election. Since I was on academic probation at the time, bugger a crummy election.Spider-Bite said:i was careful never to say "you" in that post. I was merely pointing out how being selfish in your political views can cause harm to others. Of course being selfish in your personal life can be as well, but I highly doubted you needed me to explain that.
However. Every person that didn't vote democrat is just as guilty as every person who voted republican. College is no excuse. Nobody has ever failed in college because they voted. That's ridiculous. With the exception of republicans rigging it so there wasn't enough voting booths in heavily democratic counties in pivotal swing states, it normally takes minutes to vote. And if your going to be busy on that day, you can cast an absentee ballot. Poll are open from 8 am to after 8 pm. yeah you going to college was more important but it's not like you were forced to choose.
So since you didn't vote for Gore, you are partially responsible for the life of suffering my little sister will have to live with her diabtes.

Blame your mum and dad for f***ing and giving birth to your sister who had diabetes. They're more responsible than some stranger on the internet whom you've never met who doesn't give two tugs of a dead dogs cock about you or your family.
Tell me how republicans had a hand in a person getting an AVM (arteriovenous malformation) in the brain. It's a congenital disorder (Jourmugand said:I think the Republicans had a hand in this, and if they did not. They will cease this chance to take back power, but i think the Democrats will preveil.

No one victimized your sister. She was born with a disease.Spider-Bite said:That is incredibly stupid. If somebody victimizes somebody it's their fault for being born? Or their parents fault for giving birth to her? It's a medical disease. My parents did nothing wrong to cause it. Bush vetoed her right to live. He's a murderer. He's a worthless human being and a traitor to his country. And every person that didn't vote against him owes my sister an apology. They owe the troops an apology. They owe million of Americans living in poverty an apology.
