Brian Cox to be CG Young-ified in WOLVERINE movie?

Hey folks, Harry here - Remember that Playboy - CG - Airbrushed look that they did to Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart in X3? Well, looks like they might be employing that technique on the WOLVERINE movie to Brian Cox - as the film is apparently set 17 years before the events that Wolverine goes through in the X-Men movies. Here ya go...

Something small about the upcoming Wolverine movie.
Brian Cox was on a BBC programme, Film 2007 talking about Running With Scissors, the presenter Jonathan Ross asked him about Wolverine to which Cox replied, 'it's set seventeen years ago, which is fine for Hugh Jackman as Wolverine doesn't age but for me, I'm thinking they could what they did with Patrick and Ian for the start of the third one. I know my character is in it, they've asked me to be in it but that was a while ago now, it's completely stalled so no start date as yet.'

Interesting, this would confirm that weapon X is gonna play a big role in this movie

I don’t mind Cox returning at all. He’s a great actor. I hope they don’t limit Wolverine’s Weapon X history to just Stryker though. In other words, I hope Stryker is just one of many involved in the Weapon X program if he is to be included in the movie… That way, it retains more faithfulness to the source material as well as presents more options for the various characters.

I also think it would be interesting to delve into Yuriko Oyama’s history with Wolverine. Perhaps at some point she can blame him for her father’s death and enlist herself for the Adamantium bonding process in order to exact her revenge as Lady Deathstryke. Perhaps in a future movie if not this one?

That said, isn’t 17 years cutting Wolverine’s extensive history a bit short?

Thank god we finally have some news on this film.

It would be great if Brian Cox did return because he is such a good actor but I doubt they'd do that de-ageing process for him for an entire movie should he have a big part to play. If its a relatively small role however then I could see it happening.

I can see that working, I liked how they "de-aged" Stewart and Mckellen in X3.

let's hope we get some kelly hu action in it as well...

I hope Cox is involved. He Rules. Interesting saying it's on hold...

maybe it means...."it's on hold...until there is a director"

That is more then likely what it is. I wouldnt be to heart broken however if this movie didnt get made and we could just continue with an X-4. I dont hold my breathe on that either.

Good **** ^^^ Man maybe Indy 4 won't be so bad afterall if they start implementing this **** more often... we are moving on people...

^ i should of put an explanation with my post
I was just putting up a comparisons pic of what he looked like 20 years ago (about 17 years ago from x2) just to show the differnce
sorry, for the confusion

that's a really pic of him from Manhunter (back in 1986)(around the same time the movie is said to be taking place, thats why i was posted it)

I know it was from Manhunter... but it wouldn't suprise me if they can get his looking like that again... although it will be tough since Cox has gotten heavy... I don't mind a new younger actor... it works when u are doing prequels anyway... no need to keep the same actors

in X2 they used (stunt man) Brad Loree, for the young stryker, in the flash back scenes, they were to quick to really get a good look at him, but, still i wonder if they'll bring him back
