If you could bring back a Marvel idea from the past and have them use it again now which would you pick and how would you do it?

For example, I loved the Acts of Vengeance in the 80s. I would love for them to do it again. The same basic idea would work with very little re-working.
How I would do it is the same as before but with all the now popular characters, and instead of Loki being behind it I'd say have people think it's him, but in the end it's Doom. I'd have that as the big surprise twist because he's turned good and this would be the big reveal of him going back to his evil ways and the Acts of Vengeance would be his way of distracting everyone so he could take back Latveria with little resistance.

I don't read a lot of Marvel, but from when I did y'know what I'd love? Blade back to how he used to be. He was my favourite Marvel character back then (and Dracula Lives/Tomb of Dracula were my favourite Marvel titles). No powers (other than immunity to vampire bites), affro, leather coat, goggles, belt of wooden knives slung across his chest, and the full 'Blaxploitation' thing - maybe even throwing in some 70s slang/'jive-talk'! Yeah, can't see it happening somehow... :(

Silver Sable and the Wild Pack - The spy genre has failed to really get off the ground lately at Marvel, but Sable offers much wider range of interesting characters and plots than SHIELD, in my opinion., with a wide range of misfit potential agents to choose from

Midnight Sons - Even more so than spies, the horror genre has been largely abandoned by the current lineup. The new Spirits of Vengeance turned out to just be a mini, hopefully they can be persuaded to commit full time to revitalizing this corner of their universe.

Sandman as a member of the Wild Pack.

The real Steve Rogers as the only Captain America.

Send every other Spider-Person back to their own reality, and then blow most of these realities up... AGAIN.

I think they are doing the Steve Rogers one (yay!)

I think there should only be one Spider-Man and one spider-woman and that's it. Screw Silk. Spider Gwen is cool but shouldn't be in the main universe, same with miles. Miles especially, there should NOT be two Spider-men in one universe.
Kill off any clones

Yep

I would love to see Marvel give their Horror/Supernatural library a big push again like they did in the early nineties.

Get some good artists and writers together and do some books with their horror genre characters.

Midnight Sons has all the potential to be Marvel's supernatural equivalent of Guardians Of The Galaxy.

I don't understand why they do books like Monsters Unleashed, Morbius, Howling Commandos of S.H.I.E.L.D and so on that consistently get cancelled while not bothering to give a potential all star supernatural hero team book a shot.

From what I keep hearing about her, that character is better off thrown away and remain completely forgotten, same goes for the sister/fake sister of Peter, that graphic novel should have remained in its own continuity and never brought into the main books.

I can't stand the 'Conveniently Never Mentioned One and Only True Love' thing that writers pull.

I'd ditch Silk too.

As for bringing things back, I'd like to see Cyclops come back. :argh:

An ongoing team-up series. I don't care if they don't sell, just keep one in rotation at all times because they're f***ing fun! :cmad:

I agree about bringing back Cyclops.

Donald Blake as an identity for Thor and not his own person.
