With the X-Men comics about to dive into Necrosha, DC running its Blackest Night event, and resurrection being so common in superhero comics, I got to thinking about my favorite characters that have died over the years. Sure, we all like to complain about certain resurrections for whatever reason, but I'm sure we all have characters we'd like to see come back.
If you could bring dead characters back to your favorite Marvel books, would would it be? How would you do it? Why?
Also, are there are any particular dead characters you think should never come back?
There are a few characters I'd bring back, like Banshee, John the Skrull, and Mimic from the Exiles. This one's going to sound strange, but one character I'd really like to see resurrected is Magda, Magneto's late wife. Her sudden return (which could easily be explained as "Wanda did it at the end of House of M") could really shake things up for Magneto and Quicksilver. I'd love to see how her presence would affect Magneto's goals, behavior, and priorities. Sure, he'd be back to his sociopathic nutter self within the next year (no other characterization seems to stick with that man), but I think it'd make for a good story nonetheless.
