It'd be great if they brought him back. The unexpected choices seem to work very well for comic book movies.

Bryan Singer - X-Men
Sam Raimi - Spider-Man
Christopher Nolan - Batman
Jon Favreau - Iron Man (Looks great)

Even Donner and Burton weren't conventional choices.

Brandon was a good choice but the story line was Crap!

I don't think Jake was saying he want Singer to do JLA. He was just saying how some director who are somewhat unknown or never did a big budget has some big hit. Such as Singer on X-Men.

And Slade for JLA? I don't know if that would suit him. With his work on 30 Days, it seem like he better at handling dark & scary stuff than something like JLA. But you never know. I always keep an open mind on this idea thought.
