Rumor time!

Sarah Jessica Parker wants Britney Spears to play her younger cousin who heads to NY to follow her dreams in the upcoming Sex and the City sequel. At least, that's what someone overheard her say... according to MTV News.

“My idea is to have someone like Britney Spears move to New York as my cousin or niece and Carrie would show her the ropes.”

If Britney is cast in the SATC sequel, does that mean there's a chance for her to show some skin?

Looks like that catchy new track from Britney Spears' latest album "Circus" may never hit the airwaves!

The Sun reports that radio stations are threatening to ban Brit's third single, "If You Seek Amy," due to the song's explicit lyrics. (If you still don't understand why it's considered raunchy, recite "If you seek Amy," out loud about a dozen times, preferably out of earshot of your boss.)

So what's a pop princess to do? Re-record the song of course! Brit is reportedly dropping the "K" and changing the title and lyrics to "If You See Amy." The song makes absolutely no sense now, but it's better than hearing Brit sing, "All of the girls and all of the boys are begging to [insert 5 second bleep here]."

Lame...:o

Incredibly lame. Since that is one of the best on the album. I'd rather she just choose another song.

I think this will actually make interest for the song increase. People will buy it and get the original meaning anyway.

I think it is ********. There have been more profane **** played on the radio.

The Daily Mirror is reporting that the Toxic singer is about to sign a $14 million publishing deal!

"There have been numerous unofficial autobiographies about Britney, but she’s never agreed to pen her own tome until now.

"And some of the stories she’s got are absolute dynamite. She’s kept diaries so there’s nothing she’ll leave out unless she wants to. If the deal goes ahead she will write three and five books throughout the next decade - it’s one of the most lucrative book deals in showbiz history."

You know it's just publicity right? There's been alot worse on radio than that.

TMZ has just obtained declarations from Jamie Spears and others in the latest Britney Spears case -- Britney's lawyer says Sam Lutfi had inserted himself and tried peddling false and hurtful info about Jamie, Britney and others in her family.

Sam allegedly was calling lawyers saying that Britney wanted to hire her own lawyer, presumably to fight the conservatorship. Sources tell TMZ that is definitely not what Britney wanted.
As we first reported, the conservators for Britney Spears obtained a restraining order today against Sam Lutfi, Adnan Ghalib and attorney Jon Eardley. We're told Brit herself is furious at Lutfi and Ghalib and would like to see them jailed.

Here's the most interesting part....According to the legal papers, late last month Lutfi sent text messages to Brit's hairdresser, saying he wasn't responsible for the conservatorship. A week or so later, Britney received "instant messages from a person with the screen name ____....The person -- who posed as the mother of a daughter with autism -- made a number of utterly false and hurtful assertions concerning Mr. Spears and his family, threatening to go public with such purported 'information' unless Mr. Spears spoke with that person." Almost immediately after Brit got those messages, Lutfi began calling Jamie.

One of the lawyers in the case filed a declaration saying over the past month she received "multiple telephone calls and text messages from Lutfi." She says Lutfi wanted to set up an urgent meeting to "speak with Mr. Spears and me with regard to what he claimed was 'information he had received about Mr. Spears and his daughter, Britney Spears as well as others.'" The attorney also says Lutfi claimed "he had been talking with Adnan Ghalib about the conservatorship and Ms. Spears' status as a conservatee."

In another document, one of the conservatorship lawyers claims "Mr. Lutfi has sent text messages and instant messages that contain false and hurtful allegations concerning Mr. Spears, Ms. Spears, and the Spears family." The lawyer continues, "Mr. Lutfi, Adnan Ghalib, and Jon Eardley sought unsuccessfully to induce an attorney to file" false statements with the court.

The papers make it clear...."Over the past month, Ms. Spears has had numerous telephone conversations with both Mr. Lutfi and Mr. Ghalib and has exchanged numerous text messages with both of them." But we're told now Brit is so mad at them she wants them locked up.

Under the TRO, Lutfi, Ghalib and Eardley must stay 250 yards away from Britney, her parents and her kids. The TRO also prohibits the trio from "acting on Ms. Spears' behalf...inducing or assisting another person to file legal pleadings" on her behalf.

Interesting fun fact: In the petition for the TRO, it says Brit has been communicating with Adnan and that "Ms. Spears innocently informs Mr. Ghalib of her destinations and that he then arranges for paparazzi to meet and film her to his financial benefit."

I don't understand why they required a restraining order. I kind of agree with these two guys.

Britney Spear's civil rights WERE violated. They declared her "insane" THEN gave power of attorney over to her father without her consent.

She was milked by Federline and his attorney with lawsuit after lawsuit and THEN charging her for the fees. The fact that the judge didn't throw any of it out for being ridiculous is astounding, but not surprising since they get paid either way. Her lawyer didn't care because they too got paid regardless of whatever outcomes of the lawsuits.

I think the only thing Britney was guilty of is stupidity and as far as I know that's not illegal here in America.

The poor girl's had a bad rap all around, it's a shame she couldn't find a true friend on her side, all she's gotten are moochers and leeches including her parents. I really hoped Mel Gibson would have given her proper directions.

It's official... Britney Spears will go on tour -- for a price.

We've learned Jamie Spears and K-Fed have now both signed the document we told you about last week, which clears the path for Brit taking her kids on the road for her upcoming concert tour. What, you ask, is in it for Federline?? How bout $5,000 a week.

As we first reported, the way the deal goes is Jayden James and Sean Preston will follow Britney to three hubs -- New Jersey, New Orleans and Los Angeles. Britney will commute back and forth from each hub during the tour. She's also renting houses in New Jersey and New Orleans for Kevin if he wants to come along for the ride. But K-Fed gets the $5,000 a week, whether he shows up or not.

But wait, there's more. We've learned the deal Jamie and K-Fed signed memorializes the custody arrangement they've all been following since last year. Britney gets the kids 3 days and nights a week, according to the new agreement, which will remain in effect after the tour is over. We're also told many weeks, Britney has the kids more than Kevin. So in effect it's 50/50 custody.

Score another victory for Brit's lawyer, Laura Wasser, who sealed the deal.

Tsk, tsk, Brit.

Under her father's care and control, Britney Spears now lives a protected life, her access even to telephones strictly restricted.

So when the 27-year-old pop star managed to get a prepaid cell phone recently, her security team confiscated it from her purse while she was at a dance practice. Confronted, she revealed the phone was given to her by someone during a hotel stay.

And that person, she disclosed, got it from two men whom her father wants to keep permanently in the singer's troubled past: ex-manager Sam Lutfi and former boyfriend, paparazzo Adnan Ghalib.

Jamie Spears described the cellular phone incident in testimony Monday in a Los Angeles court as he sought to maintain a restraining order against Lutfi, whom Jamie has claimed harassed Britney and has sought to undermine Jamie's legal control over her life.

"Leave Us Alone"
"When [Lutfi] was in so-called control, she'd lost everything – her kids and career," Jamie said at the hearing. "I believe he's a predator, I believe he's very dangerous to her ... and causes her a lot of anguish and disbelief. We've asked him to go away before, and now he's coming back. We just want the man to go away. Just leave us alone."

In court papers, Lutfi 34, denies he's been harassing Spears, countering that it's been Spears reaching out to him – not the other way around – by sending him text messages even though court orders forbid her from doing so.

Lutfi does admit that he's passed messages on to her through her hairdresser and others, including Ghalib, 36, but argues that the messages weren't harmful in any way.

Harassing Text Messages
But Jamie Spears testified about a series of what he called threatening text messages he received last month from someone with the screen name "citygalin310," who he was later "100 percent" sure was Lutfi.

Without divulging details, Spears said the texts appeared to be someone "trying to extort my daughter." He replied to the messages by saying, "What are you looking for? Our family has been through so much."

Fifteen minutes after receiving those texts, Jamie said Lutfi called him. "[Sam] began to cry and he basically fell apart on the phone," said Jamie.

Lutfi complained that the Spears family statements against him "were giving him a bad name," Jamie said. "He went on and on. He said he knew what was wrong with [Britney]." Lutfi wanted to meet with Jamie to discuss her situation, but Jamie declined and referred Lutfi to his lawyer, Jamie testified.

Details of Stand-Off
Jamie also revealed why his daughter locked herself in a bathroom with son Jayden, leading to her first hospitalization last year.

"She was told by Lutfi she could have her children for another night," Jamie said. But when a bodyguard for her ex-husband Kevin Federline arrived to get the children, "She didn't want to let her kids go because she thought she could have them for another night," Jamie said.

He then somberly described his daughter during that night at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center as "kind of wild" and "just very messed up."

Before he took legal control, he testified, Britney's life "was pretty well a disaster. She had nothing going on, just mostly [being] in the tabloids." But today she's "very stable, making her meetings, taking care of her babies, doing things she's supposed to do," he said.

In cross-examination, Lutfi's attorney Bryan Freedman pointed out that Spears's father only knew of one outgoing call to Lutfi's number. Spears testified that he didn't know whether Lutfi answered the line or not.

Lutfi's lawyer denied to PEOPLE that Lutfi was the user of screen name "citygalin310."

The hearing will resume Wednesday with more testimony from other witnesses.

27 and lives under her daddy's control .hehehehhehehehehehehe.

i guess having millions is not all that good hhhh? :)

Lufti does sound like a out and out scumbag, and unfortunately, some women (and men for that fact) are drawn toward turds like that for some reason, especially if they are compromised mentally (like Ms. Spears). I hope she has people around her that will do everything in thier power to make sure she stays away from these con-men.

According to E! Online, illusionist/comedian Ed Alonzo has come up with some unique magic tricks for Brit's upcoming concerts, and fans will not be disappointed!

Alonzo says, "Right away, [Britney] got into the boxes and into the magic contraptions to learn the stuff, and she's so excited about this tour and all the elements that are in it. We're going to be doing the classics of magic but a little high-tech. We'll be doing a little dissection, transposition, a vanish, an appearance - and if I do a trick, she doesn't just hold the props, she's actually getting inside the big boxes or I am slicing her up."

Alonzo added that Brit is "really, really good at it," and she "gets right in there with no reservations." he added. "It's going to be an amazing concert for people to watch. It's like watching a big Cirque du Soleil high-tech circus, but with a really focused star in the middle of all of this."

As for that idiot Adnan:

Adnan Ghalib has turned himself in after being charged with three felonies. He went to court and pled not guilty.

As we first reported, Ghalib allegedly struck a process server with his car earlier this month. The L.A. County D.A. has charged Ghalib with felony assault with a deadly weapon, felony battery and felony hit and run.

Ghalib was arraigned this morning in Van Nuys where he entered the plea.

Ghalib posted $110,000 bail.

Another update:

The LA courts were busy with Britney Spears business on Wednesday!

In addition to Brit's former boytoy, Adnan Ghalib, facing off against the LA District Attorney, an LA court heard testimony today, Wednesday, from the pop tart's hairdresser, Roberta Romero, and bodyguard, Itamar Gelbman, in the Osama Lutfi restraining order case.

Lutfi is Brit's former "manager" and Daddy Spears is trying to get authorities to extend a restraining order they have out on him.

The hairdresser said that starting December 24th, 2008, Lutfi began phoning/texting her and asked her to relay messages to Britney on his behalf. When Britney found out about Lutfi's ploy she apparently wigged out.

Brit's bodyguard testified that once the hairdresser made him aware of Lutfi's calls/text, he got involved:

And then on Dec. 27, he began texting Roberta again with pleas to relay "the truth" to Britney.

"She can look at the court docs online," read one text. "I didn't do any of this to her."

Another text made the claim that Britney's hospitalization in February 2008 was all part of a conspiracy for her family to gain control over her.

"Her family put her into the hospital just to set up the conservatorship," read the text. "I've done everything I can to free her…. I'm very close to getting her free now."

Roberta testified that when Brit discovered the texts late in the evening on Dec. 27, she asked Roberta to text him back, asking him to stop trying to reach her. When that didn't stop, the pair went to speak to Britney's head of security, Itamar Gelbman, who also testified today.

After being made aware of the texts, Gelbman contacted Sam directly by phone and told him that if the attempts to contact Britney did not stop, he would notify the police.

The bodyguard also mentioned that Lutfi's reemergence jolted Britney so much so that she couldn't sleep. She also asked her security team to do extra patrols of her property because she was so frightened.

You need to tell me if she sings

Opps
Gimme More
Shattered Glass
Kill the Lights

I will be so pissed if those first two are not on that set list. I refuse to believe that they won't be included.
