Off the NY Post:

Britney Spears has cleaned up her act. GK Reid, who recently styled the music video shoot for her hit new single, "3," tells us, "She exhibited amazing energy and was in great shape -- her body looked better than it has in years. "She munched on sushi instead of junk food, and even sang live with the words. She worked really hard and was really sweet to all the dancers." Says Reid of the video, which is an ode to threesomes: "It's really steamy."

Sounds like good news to me. :D

Oh my gosh! :D

Britney's tweet:

1...2...3 days until the premier of my new video but don't stress, I will be sending out lots of pics and clips for the next 3 days. - Brit

Here's the first:

Britney Spears Fans Storm Out Of Australian Concert, Complain About Her Lip-Sync Performance

She was only three songs into her Perth, Australia show Friday night when fans started heading to the doors. Hundreds of them left, and even more are angry about what they paid between $182 and $1370 US dollars to see.

"We are really big Britney fans, but it was crap," Josh Blee told local reporters. "She has let us down. Added Amanda Hawlet, who drove two hours to Perth's Burswood Dome, "I want my money back or I want her to sing properly. It cost me half a week's wage....it was a waste."

Even the Australian government has gotten involved in the dispute. New South Wales Minister for Fair Trade Virginia Judge is considering requiring Britney to disclose on tickets for future shows that she doesn't sing live. "Australians would not tolerate a 'Mickey Mouse' performace," Judge told the Sydney Daily Telegraph. "Let's be clear. Live means live."

What a load of crap, acts like Britney don't sing live 90% of the time as they can't do that and their dance routines, it's common sense.

Id rather see her sing then do all the dance routines. But yeah, its nothing new. MJ used to do that as well.

Yeah. & the Britney concert was amazing (for me anyway heh). I had no problem at all that she was lip-synching. I had loads of fun.

You just have to be a complete idiot to buy a ticket for a Britney Spears concert and expect live singing. I love the girl, but seriously.

Would they like some cheese with their whine? If you shelled out over a thousand bucks for a concert, well, you'd best stay the entire show, even if it's utter crap. It's an open secret that Britney lip-synchs. Claiming ignorance as to her "singing" is only pathetic and invites no sympathy. Perhaps in the future, Britney and co. should put "NO LIVE SINGING" in flashing multi-colored letters. Make it 3D while they're at it. Clearly, some people can't be trusted to be responsible with their own money. :whatever:

"Thousands of fans" walked out? Really? Somehow, I think this is media sensationalism at its most potent, and unforturnately, it seems to have caught on among other media outlets. It's news like this that makes me not only ashamed to be an Australian, but human in general. Journalism has gone to the dogs these days, reported from one and no other side of the coin.

It also depends on the quality of the lip syncing though. I don't mind if people do it (because face it, a lot of artists do) but it should be believable. If people walked out, it obviously was poorly done

The managers of the arena she played at say many of these "complaints" and pleas for money back, are nonexistant. They said they didn't get a single compliant about the concert. Also, I think it is pretty funny how all of these walk-outs and bad reviews are coming out after the public comments about her lip syncing prior to arrival in Australia. I think some of these articles were written before the concert even happened.

The singles collection comes out on Tuesday, right?

Britney Spears "upset" over Australian tour complaints

http://omg.yahoo.com/news/britney-spears-upset-over-australian-tour-complaints/30887

Before her world tour started in March to promote her sixth studio album, Spears had only done a handful of live concerts in recent years as her personal life ran out of control.

This included stints in psychiatric care, an ugly divorce, losing custody of her two sons, shaving her head and partying without panties.

Spears has been at the center of debate over lip-synching since she arrived in Australia last week, even though it's no secret that she mimes as she dances in her circus-themed show.

The Fair Trade Minister for the state of New South Wales, Virginia Judge, ignited the debate by saying Australians would not tolerate a "Mickey Mouse" performance by Spears, who rose to fame as a member of Disney's "Mickey Mouse Club" TV series.

Judge suggested concert tickets should carry disclaimers about whether parts of concerts were pre-recorded and mimed.

Dainty said it was well known that part of Spears concert was lip-synched and blasted any inference that this was hidden.
"It's been all over the Internet for nine months," Dainty said. "This show is about an incredible spectacle, which it is."

Spears' manager Adam Leber took to Spears' Twitter account to defend the singer to her 3.7 million followers.
"Its unfortunate that one journalist in Perth didn't enjoy the show last night. Fortunately the other 18,272 fans in attendance did. - Adam" he wrote.
The management from the Burswood Dome in Perth, where Spears' show was staged, told local reporters that they had not received any complaints from the 17,000 people who were at the show. A similar number attended Spears' show the next night as well.

Thousands of fans flooded Spears' personal website and Twitter to congratulate her on her comeback, describing her Perth performances as "amazing," "awesome" and "brilliant."

If she really was lipsynching then she's nowhere near M.J.'s level. This is the same woman who shouted '*****' after the start one performance, right?

Brit's new vid

I'm not sure if I like it or not but damn she looks hot in it.
