Bruce wayne having a young super powered apprentice

Believe it or not, there's fanfic out there that has Bats taking Superboy under his wing.

Er, I can't quite say what he's teaching...

i think batman should take a 1woman and 2 a older person.

because of a urban legend about batman is gay and pedophile most of a runing joke about
60s batman and robin tv show.

by the way i like supergirl and powergirl

Well there was a "What If" issue when young Clark saw his parents being murdered. He then trained to become "Batman".

for some reason i always figured that the son of Superman and Wonder Woman from KC would serve as an apprentice to Bruce Wayne.

i know there was a sequel to KC called The Kingdom but i havent gotten around to looking into that.

How would you think such a story line would play out. I think the limitations of bruce bringing up regular (or fairly regular) young folk shouldn't always be the case.

I had a dream the other day of what would have happened if bruce had taken the superboy clone under his wing.

taking a character with powers on that level would indeed lead to conflict between student and teacher in the areas of experience and usefulness as well as the ever ending battle of who can take who in their prime. Could also lead to the birth of an accepted best superhero of future generation, or villalin if conflict persues.

i know people aren't fond of bats having a partner anymore but i think if taken from a different angle, it could make a interesting tale.

the most ideal of these situations would be if a younger superman crashed in metropolis and was reared by a bruce wayne. has this ever been done in a dc version of 'what if'

just throwing ideas out for general thoughts, thanks in advance for your replies

This would never because Bruce is someone who wouldn't take a partner who has powers. Or he just use him since hes got a plan to stop everyone.

Ik grayson had been a meta human, what difference would that have made on the fact that he tragically lost his parents just the same way that bruce did at a young age? A wronged person is still a wronged person, i don't think bruce would alienate or simply just send them in everytime. It would be like a more active charles xavier but with simply one student on a very intensive level. I think it could definitely work, plus it would also make it more explainable how such young children are able to achieve incredible feats.
