Daniel Alter has been calling it since the beginning (Wb Producer, among others compagny) and he has been spot on about Bvs.

I think it is a possibility. Lex will stand out as the intellectual villain, and needs someone to be the muscle on Superman/Batman.

He'd work good as a villain where it's not another invasion story and its not Lex. Other human or earth based superman villains would have a hard time carrying a movie imo.

On the one hand , Doomsday would justify the inclusion of other Superpowered JLA members playing minor to cameo roles, but Batman would seem to be useless against him. Still, if you're going for an epic threat that could dwarf Zod, Doomsday would certainly do it. On the other hand ,Metallo would seem to be a more grounded threat that could give both Superman and Batman a hard time, but that both could handle. I suspect Snyder will go with the bigger threat of Doomsday with a possible "death" of Superman cliffhanger which would lead into JLA.

You almost HAVE to have a second villain if you're going to have the entire Trinity appear in the movie, let alone possible appearances by other JL members. Lex is cool and all, but he's no match for Superman, Batman, AND Wonder Woman, and he's not a physical threat period. You can have Lex be the puppetmaster pulling the strings and the have a second villain be the physical threat that the heroes need to fight, be it Doomsday, Metallo, Parasite, or whomever. Doomsday could be the result of Lex studying Zod's corpse and messing around with Kryptonian biology/genetics.

Metallo just works for everyone, he is a physical threat to Superman and Wonder Woman, and once he incapacitates Superman and possibly WW, Batman can work out a way to take him down. Works out perfectly for everyone really

If its confirmed JL is coming out in 2017, a year after BvS, then a cliffhanger is pretty much a given. And the obvious choice is the DOS s/l.

I think that could work out, if a big Doomsday battle was saved until the very end. Batman seeing the worth of someone like Superman, facing threats he can't. Two thirds of the film could be Batman and Superman antagonising each other.

What about ending the film with the lights going out in the city and a Doomsday reveal. Superman turns his head and we see heat vision starting to form in pupils. End film!

i just don't think Doomsday is a villain that should be built up to. I think now is the perfect time for Doomsday.

the villains need to be more threatening than Zod if all these heroes have to team up to win

I'd like to see Mongul in live action but in maybe a Green Lantern movie or tv series

there are more appropriate villains than Mongul for this movie and for Justice League
