I have the weird idea that maybe the guy put Benadryl into the muffins to make sure the teachers wouldn't have allergic reactions and die.

He's an idiot - but that's the only reason I could see for putting benedryl into the muffins. I don't think the senior was seriously trying to kill his teachers - I think he was an idiot who watched too many episodes of "That 70s Show" and thought he would get his teachers high for a lark.

He's an idiot, no question. But I doubt he's a murderer.

A question to the more "cannabis aware" posters on here.

I know you can't really overdose from smoking marijauna, but can you from directly ingesting it? I'd assume you could.

Even without the Benadryl, I should think eating a decent amount of pot could be pretty bad for you.

in my junior year of high school, a kid put lsd in our english teacher's soda. needless to say, the teach wandered the halls during class, looking strung out, and eventually made his way to the parking lot, where he rolled his car down a hill.


oh, and the kid was expelled, and sent to jail.

Though you must confess, putting weed in food is very proactive and utilizing the concept of triage. You're satisfying the munchies at the same time you're getting high. Talk about thinking outside the box.

Jail's too good for that kid. Was the teacher okay?

The worst senior pranks we had at our school had to have been the year someone released a crate full of live crickets into our school's stairwells (which ended up costing the school $400 for an exterminator), and the year a group of masked seniors went around spraying everyone with maple syrup (girls had to go home to get the gunk out of their hair, and clothing/property was ruined).

There was a school prank over here at some suburban rich neighborhood where two seniors basically shut down the entire server at their school. Their attorney was like, "it was a harmless prank." Granted, it's humorous in a rated R movie kind of way, but that's like spiking drinks that are open to the public. Not everyone wants liquor or to ingest drugs, but I guess therin lies the funny.

Yeah, well, our school was poor...we couldn't afford anything better than crickets and maple syrup.

it would take a lot to get an overdose, I think you'd suffer from indigestion before you get an overdose by eating laced brownies

as far as smoking, it would have to be a really large amount of pot smoke for you to actually overdose on pot, like those operatives where the DEA seizes and destroys tons of pot, you'd have to walk into the mariguana bonfire... but it's more likely you'd choke from the smoke first

so yes, pot's pretty harmless, unless you get stupid enough to do stupid things while stoned
