I did just see Killer Joe the other day.....****.

Haha, if it turns out old Matt is cast you're gonna have fanboys crawling out the woodwork talking about how awesome he's always been and what not.

Never seen him act but...hope this works.

i hope noone ignores this post because its fact. :cmad:

You saw all that weight he lost to play that guy with AIDS, so he puts in the work. He's just never been on the radar except for the occasional dark comedy role and his....abs.

Seeing an ensemble come together is an exciting phase of movie making!

After seeing Killer Joe , i have no doubts about McConaughey . He sure has presence.

McConaughey was also really good in Frailty, Reign of Fire and U-571.

It's true. Before Magic Mike, he had never even taken his shirt off. Like, ever. :o

Killer Joe was crazy. Matthew was insanely good in that one.

He's a phenomenal actor when he isn't in rom coms

This is came out of left field! I havent seen enough of his movies to say that I'm excited. Gonna check out Killer Joe today if possible.
Hope we hear more casting news/ rumors soon! Wonder if Nolan will keep casting people he hasn't worked with (except Michael Caine, we all know he'll be in this one too :oldrazz:

He was good in Frailty.

Like most actors, his performance depends more on the director.

Lone Star is another great film with McConaughey. I actually think the guy has been in more good movies than bad ones; it's just that the bad ones seem to stick out to people more often, for whatever reason.
