The teaser trailer played in front of District 9 last week.Hopefully the new one will turn up soon online.

Here's some good news for dutch moviegoers - after four years they're finally creating more IMAX screens and it's just in time for the release of Avatar.:yay:

Imax nabs Netherlands digital deal

Co. pacts with exhib Pathe
By VARIETY STAFF

Imax has pacted with exhib Pathe Netherlands to install three Imax theater systems as part of an expanded joint venture partnership.
The deal includes the installation of an Imax digital projection system in Rotterdam and Eindhoven, as well as a digital upgrade to the exhibitor's Imax theater in Amsterdam in time for the Dec. 17 Imax 3D release of James Cameron's "Avatar."

Pathe Netherlands, owned by Europalaces/Pathe, opened its first Imax theater in Amsterdam in 2005 and since then it has become the most successful multiplex in the country.

Separately, the agreement with Europalaces/Pathe also includes upgrading the Gaumont Disney Village Imax outside Paris with Imax's digital projection system.

Sweet , but why didn't they also install one in The Hague :cmad:
Also considering that Holland isn't exactly a large place ,i have a feeling this is going to be a LIEMAX but i could be wrong

that would be mean to say that it is an IMAX when in fact it is only a fake imax.

Can someone tell me the difference between an IMAX cinema and a "fake" IMAX cinema?

well it's not exactly people know about this here and the imax quality still is superior. \but yeah size matters :csad:
well its still better and bigger. but the problem is the ticket price. you give them money like its a real imax. and since its not the ticket should be more expensive then a normal theater but still cheaper then a real imax.

we have just a normal 3D theater.

p.s.:i am still worried about the foreign subtitles. a lot of people are complaining that flat subtitles in a 3D movie look weird. this is the reason why Cameron wanted 3D subtitles.

yea but i think they will have subtitle for all the other languages
cameron did want this movie to be shown all over so you would think it will be in their language

i dont think they did seperate 3D subtitles for other countries and added them on the footage.

i think so, i mean Cameron is promoting this movie all over the world, dont you think they will have subtitles for their country

this would be a great for AVATAR, especially for the final battle

hey i had a random thought that was pretty interesting, remember when Dr. Manhattan said that he will create some life, so what if that is the Navi?
