Ever considering just going upstairs and telling them you can hear them, and asking if they can hear you? As well as if your noise is bothering them?

Well, my mom's called the cops on them two times before because they can be loud at night. The husband goes to his night job, but the wife just stays up and walks around the apartment all night. They have wooden floorboards up there, so it creaks wherever she goes, and she's a heavy walker. Sometimes it sounds like she's not even just walking, but stomping to get on our nerves. Not to mention it sounds like she's moving s**t around, turning on the faucets, and other crap that keeps us up. Then she presumably sleeps during the day when her husband gets home, but we're barely home during the day because that's when we work.

My mom's brought it up with her before and asked her to calm it down, but she lied and said it wasn't her doing it. The broad is crazy, we know it's her. The second time we called the cops, they came to her door and she acted like she wasn't even home. We could hear her walk to the door and just stand there while the cops knocked. Eventually the cops just gave up and left.

I've brought it up with the husband before, and the sounds stopped for about a week but then started right back up. It's mostly the wife doing this. I think she really doesn't like my mom because of what's happened these past few months.

Whenever I'm watching a movie, I don't have it that high because I don't want to bother anyone. I try to be as quiet as possible in my room, aside from my laughter sometimes. But the walls are so thin you can hear faint sounds.
