this sounds like a very diplomatic way of saying "no"
to be perfectly honest, one could make a solid argument that DD/JJ are both better than anything marvel studios has done outside of TWS/GotG/IM1
the netflix stuff is basically their "HBO." it's mature, it's smart, it's well-written/acted and doesn't suffer from MCU 3rd act syndrome that more people have become aware/critical about (although ant-man was a nice change-up)
but there was an interview after DD came out that feige hadn't watch the series yet, which disappoints me, b/c as the head of of the movies i feel like he's missing a huge opportunity to integrate talent into their movies and elevate them even more
now that perlmutter is out, i hope the netflix stuff gets taken a look at by feige because it's arguably the best live-action stuff marvel has ever done
let's just leave agents of poo out of the movies though

The Netflix shows are something different and are obviously edgier, but I wouldn't trade out the movie for the tv shows any day of the week. They're too fun.
A lot of people like to blame Pearlmutter for everything, and I get it's popular to hate on the guy for obvious reasons, but not everything is his fault. Honestly, I think Marvel fans are spoiled. What Marvel has done, with creating a connected universe within the movies is unprecedented. Yet, you still hear people wining about the Defenders probably not showing up in IW, or that the Avengers haven't had their reunion with Coulson, or why hasn't Avengers Tower replaced the Metlife building in Jessica Jones.
Oh, and now people are complaining about Kevin Feige, or as some people have called him "Our Lord and Savior", has not seen Daredevil yet. I imagine Feige is one of those people that never sleeps at night, because he's always up at night perfecting his craft. I mean, just look at everything Marvel Studios has given us, and starting in 2017, Marvel will be putting out 3 movies a year.
Seriously though, there will already be so much going on in Infinity War, that I'd rather Marvel focus on getting the movie characters right before even thinking about the tv side of things. The Russos start filming in less than a year, and Marvel still needs to cast Carol Danvers as well as other characters crucial to the story.
I don't like your "Agents of Poo" comment. Regardless of what you may think of the show, many people like it, and AOS are far more important in-universe characters than The Defenders, and Coulson actually has a tie to the movie side of things, being that Shield agent who was the connective tissue to the heroes in phase 1.
The Defenders should fill the huge void left after Infinity War 2 is over with.
It will be a huge event to see all four of them in a movie together.
Seeing them all in Infinity War 2 would kill the build up and anticipation.
I can wait till phase 4 for the Defender movie event.
Here are a list of heroes that will probably get sequels in phase 4:
1. Guardians of The Galaxy
2. Ant-Man and Wasp
3. Doctor Strange
4. Spider-Man
5. Black Panther
6. Captain Marvel
7. Inhumans("A franchise which could spin off into a series of franchises." -K. Feige.)
Yeah, that's sequels for SEVEN franchises in phase 4. I don't see this huge void that you speak of, and the Defenders needing to fill it.
