Has it been that long? Wow... I get my comics on sale, 3 for 5, but unfortunatly that means they are all the back issues that didn't sell. Which means I am far from "current" when it comes to my comics.

Yep. She first appeared in 1982, and has already gone through two name changes (Photon and Pulsar). There's another Captain Marvel that is the original's son.
