Hey guys, we know there was 40 minutes of scenes that didn't make the final cut so you wanna try to piece together what all is missing and might make it to the blu ray?

I know Jeremy Renner said there was a scene where Hawkeye takes down The Hulk with a arrow or something. I don't remember seeing that at all. And in the german trailer there was a scene of Cap throwing his shield towards the camera in a alley. I don't remember seeing that either. There was supposed to be a scene with Cap going to meet Peggy yes? What else got cut?

That was the first one that came to mind.

I don't think I've seen that shot of Cap throwing the shield to the camera in an alley.
And I think, I think, Stan Lee's full cameo was cut.
Peggy was cut, I've read Joss talking about it.

-The military scenes were cut.
-There was also a scene of Cap brooding in his apartment that was cut,

I saw the advanced screening three weeks ago, and now that everyone is able to see it I'm interested to see what people think on this.....I'm less interested in what is in the 30+ minutes that was cut from the final movie and less interested in what was in the trailers that was not in the movies.

From what I remembered:

- No military, only Police fighting in the streets

- Fury doesn't say "And we are hopelessly outgunned" although I think he said something similar.

- Coulson doesn't say "I think they need a time out".

- Cap's alley shield throw.

- In the trailer, Iron Man flies up into the Chautari, hits one and falls from the sky to be caught by Hulk. In the movie he does fly up, but the scene where he falls is at the end.

- The shot where Widow is standing looking down and there is an explosion behind her is not in the movie.

- When Banner says "What if I say no?" in the trailer he pauses, but in the movie he just says it.

- Does Banner say "We're not a team....we're a time bomb"? I didn't think so.

"I still believe in heroes." didn't make it in as far as I could tell

Wasn't there a shot of Iron Man flying over a desert in that first trailer at the end of Captain America?

Also the scene that was cut where Steve reunites with Peggy...was that supposed to be Hayley Atwell in makeup or did they just cast someone else? Because the character would probably be in her 90s.

I think alot of it was just scenes that were shot multiple times in order to get the final effect that Whedon wanted. For instance the "Time Bomb" quote by Banner was made, it was just delivered differently with a little "chemical mixture" phrase thrown in. Fury's "Hopelessly Outgunned" quote was said, but delivered differently with some extra garb to it.

the "mr. stark. captain." exchange was used in the "loki in germany" scenes. the footage shown shows that this exchange occurred when they cap and tony were in the helicarrier.

Was there a scene during the last battle where Captain America jumps through a car window and out the other side? I remember someone had fan footage of the filming of some of his scenes and the stuntman jumped through the car for one. That would have been pretty cool to see, I only remember Cap jumping over cars.

- The shot where Widow is standing looking down and there is an explosion behind her is not in the movie.

Thankfully that wasn't in the movie. I don't recall a single forced pose from her like in IM2 and that made me very happy.

Most of the lines from previous trailers were different from the final ones in the movie.

Just saw it for the 2nd time....to correct myself:

- Fury says "we are hopelessly and ridiculously outgunned" instead of "hopelessly outgunned".

- The military is in the movie for about 4-5 seconds, one very brief scene with a few guys, which I kind of felt was weird?

- Banner does not say "We're not a team, we're a time bomb", he says something similar but I can't remember exactly what. Something about putting us together, mixing us up, making a volitile mixture, something to that effect.

I just found it curious that there were several lines that were in the trailers that either weren't in the movie at all, or were different in some way in the movie. I don't ever recall noticing something like that in other movies....then again I've never been more focused in on a movie, and watched the trailers so many times, in my entire life. :)

Yeah it is a pretty common thing, actually.

- Fury says "we are hopelessly, hilariously outgunned" instead of "hopelessly outgunned".

:yay:

I'm looking forward to the deleted scenes. Like people have said one thing that was really prominent was how pretty much non of the cool lines from the trailers made it into the film the way they were in the trailer, so we truly didn't get the feel of the film.

Best example I can give is when Stark says his 'Genius, Billionaire, Playboy, Philanthropist' line, in the trailers it's funny in the film, it is funny but it's delivered with a tone that fits the arguing far more, I wouldn't have been able to say it was part of a massive argument scene from the trailer.

According to Ruffalo, they cut down the scene between him and Harry Dean Stanton too and he was crushed that they cut it because it had Banner's "call to God" moment.

Also the scene that was cut where Steve reunites with Peggy...was that supposed to be Hayley Atwell in makeup or did they just cast someone else? Because the character would probably be in her 90s.

I'm really curious about that as well.

I sure hope a nExtended or Director's Cut is being planned for dvd/blu-ray!
