Can you eat a whole pizza? And have you?

I have eaten entire frozen pizzas all by myself that were meant for a family. :o

the thin crust kind.

I probably can, I've eaten 7 slices worth & was tempted to eat the last, but I didn't want to commit the sin of gluttony. :o

But when it comes to take out pizzas - which are a lot bigger than frozen ones - I never tried that.

Tried the "Whole Pizza Challenge" and only was able to eat 7 because I felt like I was going to puke if I went for the last slice.

I've eaten a couple wholes pizzas by myself, no problem

I use to buy those uno deep dish pizzas...

... finish it all in one seating

did I mention I use to have a bit of a weight problem

A whole large pizza? Yikes. Maybe I could, but it would have to be one of those really thin New York ones with just cheese and tomato sauce on top, no meat or anything.

How big a pizza are we talking? America supersizes stuff compared to Europe. A pizza in Italy will probably be 9 or 12 inches across. In UK the largest Dominos Pizza is 14" across. But I know I've seen much larger in the US.

I ate an entire thick crust medium poutine pizza by myself a couple of weeks ago, and I don't even eat that much.

For clarification, let's use 1 Domino's Large Pizza.

I can't do it, but I can eat a Medium Domino's.

Easily.

But I will feel like crap afterwards.

Over a two day period, sure. Not all in one night, I don't think.

Cheers. Had one today. But that was for breakfast lunch and dinner. Eaten over the space of about 8 hours.

Dominos is weak. I've eaten whole pizzas from real pizzerias.

Depends on the pizza. The Pedro's down the street for me, I regularly ploughed through a large, deep dish Meat Lovers pizza every Saturday (don't look at me, it's my one bad meal/non-work out day cheat meal) in less than 15 minutes, sometimes less than 10. Plus the garlic bread.

But my current favourite, Pimpala Pizza, I struggle to get through 5 slices (and only a few bits of garlic bread).

I can, and I have.

The Joey Special in the other hand...

Some day I'll climb that mountain.

I can eat an almost unlimited amount of those thin-based pizzas you get in Italy or Provence, topped with just olives and anchovies and herbs, ideally washed down with about a pint of cool, rustic red wine.

I doubt I could eat a single slice of fatty American-style pizza-cake, however. I don't judge, but it just doesn't appeal.

Depends on the type and size of pizza, but yes I can and yes I have.

If I went the whole day without eating, I would probably be able to.

I think the most I've had is 6 slices. I'm sure I'll be able to eat two more someday.
