There are a couple people here who could do it for you another option (which I tend to do) is use http://www.online-image-editor.com/ scroll down and choose the tab that says "From URL" - put in the full url of the gif (i.e. http://i.imgur.com/2Px8OCH.gif) and click 'upload'

It will then show the image in their editor where you can crop it to a square and then resize it to the necessary dimensions. If it doesn't meet the file size requirement (i.e. mine for a 75x75 icon is, I believe, limited to 76kb) click on the "wizard" tab at the top and choose "gif only" - there are a few options to try, I usually go with reduce colors first (if you've resized it down to icon size, it should give you some options of how much you want to reduce the colors and what file size the new image will be). If none of the reduce colors reduces the file size enough, you can always use the remove every 2nd frame option. After you've got it how you like it, you can then save it to your local computer and then upload it here onto SHH.
