Is the new series any good? I was thinking of starting to pick up this title with issue #18. I've only read Daredevil by Brubaker, but those issues were really good. The art on Cap looks good too. Also, if anyone knows which trades are out or will be out soon. Thanks in advance.

Yes it's good. It's one of Marvel's best books in my opinion. Brubaker kicks ass! I think that Brubaker or Miller should be the writer for New Avengers, not Bendis.

Yes it's good, but you should start from the begining.

Has the Winter Soldier arc been made into a trade yet? I'd like to get the trades going into issue #18.

i've gotta say im not too keen on long dead people comin back from the grave. but brubaker made it just so good with bucky and whedon did the same for colossus that it was forgiveable. however winnick's ressurection of jason todd was so horribly bad.

    BUMP~!

This was really the only "official" Captain America thread I could find with the search.

Read ish # 19. Is Winter Soldier bad ass or what? Damn, Brubaker has made the return of Bucky so worth it. Cap and Union Jack make a pretty good team.

Anybody else think Lukin is going to betray The Skull or something along those lines? I don't know, I just Lukin is just getting fed up with it all.

But next issue we'll be getting some Crossbones and I'm looking forward to it. And Steve Epting deserves an Eisner or some kind of award, his art is fantastic on this book.

Epting like many other of today's comic book artists have improved their artwork.

And yes I also agree that Epting receive an award.

*sigh* I miss the days when there was THE rule "Everyone can come back except Uncle Ben and Bucky", although I'd like to see Uncle Ben come back just to mind**** Peter :D

well bucky was never said to be dead just missing, and they didn't have a body. plus the story doesn't mess with history or any other storys.

Kind of hard to have a body when you are on a bomb

Uncle Ben sort of came back. Now I said "sort of". If you're interested pick it up...it's actually kind of a fun story.

I give it a thumbs up also as an excellent read. Brubaker is superb both on this title as well as Daredevil.
