I think we've just found that thing that might change the planet.

Can't...stop...laughing...

Sorry. That story just really reminded me of That 70's Show.

interesting find.the oil companies would probably go out of thier way to destroy it.

i don't know about that. I think they realise they have to change with the times-find a way to make money out of new technology or fall by the way side. The hydrogen idea has been around for years its inevitable and now they are solving the problems i don't think anyone can stop it

OMG I hope this hits the markets, gas is killing me:(

it doesn;t even look that cool...it's even a sickly colour

i know someone who's car runs on chip oil...

just like how pharmecuetical companies are trying to find the cure for cancer and aids,eh?lol

something that might occur is that the oil companies can get permision from the government to help regulate the making of gallium and aluminum...its the only way isee oil companies staying around.

It won't last.

Just look at what happened to the electric car.

Gasoline isn't the only petroleum product. There are a LOT, and they could find ways to make handsome profits even in the absence of gasoline. ;)

Honda's releasing a hydrogen hybrid model next year

If they slowly killed the electric car they will nuke the car that runs on water before it's even put into production.

Either this car will cost $100,000 each or we will be charged $3.75 a gallon for water.

The difference was that there's really wasn't that much interest in the electric cars. While this is the holy grail of engines, there simply wasn't enough interest in getting rid of oil when the electric was out, there is now.

gas ware i live just went up to 3.50 a gallon, its bull****, ill deffinitly invest in any electric powerd car, or this aluminum water powered car.

gases and oils are bad for the envirnmeant anyway.

Yeah, and the only emissions this car produces is water vapors.

This makes me wonder how long it's going to be from now when aluminum will go for $5 a pellet.

I hate the oil companies. I really do. They have to be some of the most evil people on this planet.

i thought i'd read that this patent was bought up anonymously, and hasn't been heard from since?

seriously though, oil companies are a bunch of evil *****e-nozzles. there's no reason this car shouldn't be put into production.

smelting aluminum releases alot of carbon dioxide.

According to Honda the mass produced car will be about $25,000 around the same price as the current hybrids.

Also the Hydrogen fuel cels they estimate will be equivalent to $3 a gallon, however at 60miles per gallon, that's like paying $1.50.

But isn't water becoming just as scarce as petrol? In places like Australia for instance.
