Ok, I know the Carnage thing has been covered repeatedly around here, but I have a theory that I don't think has been discussed. (At least not that I have found.)
Remember the sample of the symbiote that Peter left with Dr. Connors?
What became of that sample?
Could that escape and become Carnage?
Naturally, I'm aware that this is not in keeping with how Carnage came to be in the comics. But, the movies haven't exactly stayed 100% true to the comics.
Just a theory.
Thoughts?

It's not impossible, but it seems to be improbable more or less. It's way to early to know for sure, but i'm guessing Connors/Lizard will be the main focus of SM-4. That seems to be the logical direction to take.

NO CARNAGE!!!!

Sam Raimi will just piss more people off if he would happen to have Carnage in a movie, plus with more screentime that what Venom got.

It's just not going to be Carnage, I can't stress that enough.

A lunatic whose only goal is to kill every man, woman and child he comes across is just not appropriate for the audience Sony are after.

I don't think Carnage is a "movie Spidey" type of Villian. I really think he should stay out of the films even though he is very cool.

As you said, it has been discussed:dry:

Plus, Carnage had better never make it into a silver screen Spider-Man movie. Why the f*** do people want Carnage so damn bad:huh:

Why the **** aren't people allowed to voice characters they want to see?

I want Toxin...Toxin is my most favorite character:dry:

There is a distinct line of fanboys on here:
One side wants to see classical villians like Lizard, Electro, Scorpion, etc...
The other side wants Venom back and Carnage

I am sure an age and an education factor plays into this for some reason:o

I disagree.

I dont want Venom to return, and I don't want Carnage in a film, but i'm a fan of these characters. Plus, I'd like to see Lizard and Electro in SM-4, so I want to see classic villains as well, also I though GG was awesome, Doc Ock and Sandman as well, and Harry too.

I'm a Venom fan, I just know that he doesn't deserve a chance to come back and that there are better villians than Carnage.

But if you seriously look around here, the people that push for Carnage and Venom are crazy or kids. I call to example the recent Spider-Man and his Super Friends thread:woot:

LOL, I must look further into this matter.

look at the joker in TDK. hes one of the main reasons people will see TDK in 2008.

Except that the Joker isn't a spawn to keep a basic character element alive to reinvigorate a character that was slowly declining. X-Men did it with Bone Claws to keep Wolverine hacking and slashing, Spider-Man did it with Carnage and Toxin, etc... Carnage is not original, Joker is.

They will water his ass down into nothing more but an insane person hell bent on causing trouble.
