The cable outlet, part of Time Warner’s Turner, plans to introduce a new version of the popular animated series, which debuted in 2006 and chronicled the adventures of Ben Tennyson, a ten-year-old boy who discovers an alien device known as the Omnitrix that gives him the power to change into various aliens. Cartoon Network Studios will produce the new series, which will debut on Cartoon Network international channels in the fall of 2016 and in North America in 2017. Man of Action, the original production team behind the series, will serve as executive producer and John Fang will be supervising producer.

WOW...its only been off for like a year?

Is not the same since Dwayne mcduffie died.

I remember when the original Ben 10 was an enjoyable kids show.... Then the tv producers took it too far by making it too serious with the later series...

So CN want to follow in Nickelodeon's footsteps in beating a dead horse further.....

I forgot this show existed. I remember the first one like a fond, distant memory. Also count me in on finding the more serious direction to not be the best idea...

I only watched a few episodes at the start here and there but I thought it was still airing. I also remember at least for a short time a live action movie or television series.

But I do also know Cartoon Network has this bizarre rule that no matter how popular a television series is they cancel it after a few years. Thus why Samurai Jack, Power Puff Girls, Teen Titans, Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends, Grimm Adventures of Billy and Mandy, Dexter's Laboratory, etc. have all disappeared dispite being immensely popular.

You'd think they would've learned their lesson with Ominverse.

The show should have wrapped permanently with Ultimate Alien.

I didn't even know this show had gone off the air.
